Easter Thank You's

I usually end up not putting a sentiment on a card - mainly because I am lazy and can't be bothered either stamping one or printing one from the pc. However, I do like these sentiments which I downloaded for free from the Sentimental Sunday's challenge blog and are from Raindrop Echo Sentiments! They are a set of three but I just printed two as I didn't have enough ribbon to make three!

The Sentimental Sunday's challenge this week is:

For Those Special Women

Plus there is an optional Crafting with a Child!

My two cards use ribbon from my stash plus hat pins that I have made myself with seed beads plus other acrylic beads I found in my stash.

I've used three Nestie dies for the shapes and have glittered the outside edge of the largest one and added a pink gel pen dots around the edge of the smallest.

The dots have also been added around the edges of the card. The paper is from Craft The Year Away cd from Funky Hand and was an oddment from a previous project - still using up my scraps!

Jacob now has his own shoe box full of stash (taken from my stash!) and he wanted to make some Easter Thank You cards as the boys got quite a few eggs this year! As he had 5 to make he decided on an Easter theme and I cut up some foam for him plus he used some table confetti and lots of PVA glue!

He did all the writing and sticking himself. He just now needs to write inside and for us to find some envelopes to fit them in! I've got my eye on a new self healing mat so when I get round to buying it, Jacob will be able to use my old one. He's really pleased with the cards!
