From The Heart Stamps Sketch 129

It's Monday which means its time for a new From The Heart Stamps sketch with a twist challenge!  I've used Snowman Medley and coloured them with Promarkers plus watercolour pencils for the background plus the usual glossy accents, liquid pearls and glitter glue!

I've used base card from my stash plus some pom pom ribbon I found.  Wooden snowflake is a parcel decoration from Sainsbury's (was buy two boxes get third free, so I have around 150 of these now!)  I found some silver peel offs in my stash so added the sentiment and star from one of those.  Not something I use any more but it looked ok!

The sketch is below and the twist is heat embossing - you must use a FTHS but you can follow either the sketch or the twist or both!  Good luck!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Simply Create Too - Challenge 99 - Snow, Snow, Snow

The current Simply Create Too challenge theme is Snow, Snow, Snow.

I've made this pop up box - the sides flaps were created with Spellbinder dies - I then added them on when I was about to add the ribbon.  The back sentiment is one from Jellypark which is no longer available as the store has closed.

The snowflakes have all been glittered and are Marianne Creatable die cuts and I've added a half pearl to the centre of each.

Even though the box looks complex - it is actually quite easy to make as long as the measurements are all good!  Good luck with the challenge!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Brown Sugar:  Use Pearls
Creative Corner:  Glamour and Glitz
Wags n Whiskers:  Ribbons and Pearls
Winter Wonderland:  Add Sparkle and Bling
Crafty Ribbons:  Frosty Christmas
Double Click Skittles:  Christmas or Blue and White

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 48 - White Plus One

The current Polkadoodle challenge is:

White Plus One

So any single colour plus white.  I've been busy making baby cards - there is an abundance of expectant mums at work!  I've used a cute spotty pink paper from the Serenity paper bundle download, made some large letters and then added my own twist to the banner.

I've added Cuttlebug Baby Face die cut letters to an acetate banner - the letters have been glittered around the edges and I then used the bow from a Memory Box die so the banner is attached.  Half pearls from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Brown Sugar:  Use Pearls
Craft for the Craic:  Something Glittery

I've printed directly onto the card stock, added a faux stitched line around the edge with a silver gel pen then added the wooden snowflake and waxed thread.

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 128

There is a new challenge over at From The Heart Stamps - don't forget, you do need to use a FTHS and either follow the sketch or the twist or both!

I've used an image that is not yet available as it was part of the Fundraiser package a while ago - I've coloured it with Promarkers, a bit of glitter glue and also glossy accents.

Papers are Papermania and I've layered onto card from my stash.  Image has been die cut with a Nestabilies die and then layered onto the fancier one.

Ribbon and charm are also from my stash.  The sentiment comes with the digi set.  And here is the sketch.  Purple isn't really my colour (I don't think I've actually got anything to wear in purple!) but it is a colour I do like to use!

Good luck - pop over to the blog for more details and inspiration!  I'd like to enter the following challenges:

I've gone clean and simple by printing the Polkadoodles image from Festive Hollybobs directly onto the cardstock and adding a little sparkle here and there.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 126

Time for a new sketch challenge at From The Heart Stamps and the sketch always has a twist!  You're able to either use the sketch or the twist or both but don't forget you must use a From The Heart digi in your creation.

I've used the very sweet Yeti, coloured him with Promarkers and I've layered up his body - his head is the second layer and his face is the third - you'll have to take my word for it as the photo doesn't really show it too well!

I've sort of followed the sketch as well!  I've coloured the circle behind the Yeti with Promarkers and added dabs of liquid pearls to look a little like stars.  Memory Box landscape die has also been used plus glitter around the edges.  And here is the sketch:

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

From The Heart Stamps Blog Hop - CAS and OTT

Time for a hop!  Its' the first Friday in the month so its the From The Heart Stamps Blog Hop!

All the team were challenged to use the same image but to make one card clean and simple (CAS) and the other to be over the top (OTT).  There are some wonderful creations by the Design Team and as you hop through don't forget to leave each one of us a comment as a random commenter on each blog will be selected to win an image of choice from the store!

I've used the Snowman Hugs image and coloured both with Promarkers.  For the CAS card, I printed the image directly onto my cardstock, rounded the corners, added glitter glue around the edges and then added a white organza ribbon and bow to the front and tied a snowflake charm and handwritten tag to it.

And for the more OTT (well, as OTT as my cards get!) I've used a Memory Box die for the top and bottom borders, white satin ribbon and then the same sentiment and snowflake charm but added a year charm too.  I layered the image onto the card with foam pads so it stood out a little and then found some half pearls in my stash (I say 'found' which really means, felt I had to use some of the many thousands I seem to have....!)

So there are my two cards - hope you find lots of lovely inspiration as you hop through the team and don't forget, the Project 100 Snowmen images are only $1 in the store and snowmen are really quick to colour too!

You should have arrived at me from Michelle then you're on the right track, if not, please start at the beginning so you don't miss anyone - the start is the blog.  Once you've left me a comment then your next step is back to the FTHS blog.  Good luck!

The hop will end on Monday 9 November at 6am EST and winners will be announced on the FTHS blog on Wednesday 11 November.  Good luck!

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 93 - Kraft or Buttons

Time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and because I couldn't decide on a challenge theme I've gone with:

Kraft or Buttons (or both!)

I've used a simple kraft card blank, rounded the corners, doodled a line around the edge plus added the dangling bows.  I then raided my button collection and added these with glossy accents along with the silver half pearls.

The sentiment is from Polkadoodles.  Good luck with the challenge!

I'd like to enter the following:

Addicted to Stamps:  Clean and Simple
City Crafter Challenge:  Get Ready For Christmas
ABC Challenge:  U is for Unlimited (Anything Goes)

Basically, never trust snow that is yellow.  And what ever you do, never eat it.  Recycling at its best - last year's Christmas card with an added Dr Digi Snowman.  Coloured with Promarkers and a smidge of glossy accents.

Probably the quickest Christmas card I've ever made!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Crazy 4 Challenges:  Christmas
Winter Wonderland:  Anything Christmas

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 125

Time for a new sketch at From The Heart Stamps. Don't forget that you can either follow the sketch or complete the twist or combine the two!

I've used one of the images in the Surprised Birdbrain set, coloured with Promarkers plus watercolour pencils for the background and added glossy accents on the eyes.

Papers are left over scraps in my stash - Echo Park Mr Campy and I've layered them onto black card.  Half pearls also from my stash.

And here is the sketch:
Good luck - don't forget to pop over to the blog to see the rest of the inspiration for the sketch!

This was quite a quick card to put together and colour. I've used You're Spectacular digi by From The Heart Stamps - its not yet available to buy in the store as I received it as part of the recent fundraiser.  Coloured with Promarkers plus glossy accents on the eyes.

I've layered it onto a fancy Spellbinders die and added glitter glue around the edges.  Everything else is from my stash and surprisingly co-ordinates quite well!
