Crimbo Crackers Challenge 112 - Anything Goes

There is a new challenge over at Crimbo Crackers and the theme for the fortnight is:

I've used Skating Birdbrain - From The Heart Stamps, coloured with Promarkers and glitter glue.  Papers are from my stash and I've added a handwritten Sizzix tag and some snowflake ribbon also from my stash.

Facebook

It can be hard to make a Birthday card for a male or even a pesky teenager but this sentiment from Birthday Sentiment Sheet 01 from Dr Digi, along with the iconic thumbs up logo from Facebook, and the problem is solved!

I've added some black gems to the cuff and used some recycled twine (it was from a garment tag) and job is done!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Summertime

We're on the second week of the current Polkadoodle challenge and the theme is:

Summertime

I've made a cute pillow box pouch with Lily Bug Love papers - you can either buy the paper pack or the whole collection!  The template was really easy to use providing the scored lines are followed.

I've added a double windmill with papers from the same collection and a half pearl to the centre.  To finish, I've added some pink ribbon, tied in a bow from my stash.

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 159

Time for the mid post inspiration from the Design Team over at From The Heart Stamps.  Remember to follow the sketch or the twist, or do both and you'll be emailed a $1 code to use towards your next FTHS purchase!  Or save them up and get a free stamp!

I've used Hamlet Pig Wit Determined To Fly and used a loose interpretation of the sketch by adding Memory Box die cut floating clouds.

I've used Promarkers to colour the image and watercolour pencils for the background plus dotted liquid pearls around the edges of the card.

El Gordo

Sometimes there is a perfect image for that just right Birthday card for a work colleague - El Gordo from Dr Digi is just that image.  Coloured with Promarkers and added to the card base with a spring - the backing papers are also from Dr Digi - Luchador and the sentiment too!

As you can imagine the card was a success!

Please remember that it does need to be Christmas or Festive themed but that is about it!

I've used a wonderful Jellypark image that is sadly no longer available, coloured with Promarkerd plus glossy accents on the windscreen and his goggles.  I've used a Memory Box die for the houses and hills and a random snowflake punch that I found.

Mini Cooper

Great Mini Cooper digi from Dr Digi - printed off small and coloured with Promarkers and made to look like a road for a 4 year old!

I've used black card and then added dashes of liquid pearls for the road markings and handwrote the Sizzix balloon sentiment, attached it to one of the cards with wire.

Quite quick and easy to make!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Ribbon or Twine

Today is the start of a new Polkadoodle challenge which lasts for two weeks so plenty of time to get your creations linked up!  The theme is:

Ribbon or Twine

I've gone for a cute mix of Winnie Fruit Punch and  Winnie Sugar Sprinkles.  The main image is from the Fruit Punch cd and the sentiment tile and card shape are from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles.  The best bit is that the cd's are quite interchangeable and complement each other!  Oh and if you don't want a cd, you can buy as a full download!

I've added liquid pearls dots around the edge of the card and handwrote the banner.  Half pearls, ribbons and charm are all from my stash.
