Fetch A Sketch Challenge 1 - Midway Extra

As we have two wonderful sponsors for our very first challenge, here is a Midway Extra post with hopefully more inspiration for our sketch! We are a bi-weekly Monday sketch challenge and we hope that our sketches will inspire you to create!

The Pre Lunch Blog Candy winners have been drawn and announced on Fetch A Sketch - so go and see if you've been lucky!

For our launch we have two wonderful and very generous sponsors:

Anice has offered the following as a prize:

Papercraft Factory - Dreams Come True cd
Our Betty Clear Acrylic Stamps - Your Special Day
Button Pack - Remember December
And Nikky has offered the following prize:Sugar Birdies Collectors Edition cd
Fairy Flutterby Rubber Stamp - Gracie
Fru Fru Boutique Ribbons - Reds

If you are familiar with my blog you will know that I design for both Funky Hand and Polkadoodles. For more about each sponsor, just click on their logos above!

For our first challenge there will be two winners. For more details on the challenge please go to the Fetch A Sketch challenge blog. The sketch that we are asking you to follow is:

You can rotate it, flip it, resize it and add embellishments or a sentiment where ever you want, just as long as we can see the elements of the sketch. You can also make anything you like too - just follow the sketch!

Continuing the theme of teacher thank you cards, I've made these for Jacob's teachers and I've used papers and digi apple from Funky Hand - Colour Me Happy cd. I've added a faux stitch around the edges and the apple has been coloured with Promarkers and then glossy accents.

I've used a nestie for the shape and then layered it and cut around for the next size up. Brads are from my stash and I had to be creative as didn't have enough of each type to use fully, hence two different brads! And the ribbon is from my stash too.

Good luck with the challenge - for more details and how to enter, please go to the challenge blog. Closing date is Sunday 10 July at 12noon GMT.

These cards also fit the following challenges:

Paper Creator's Challenge: Special Occassion

Secret Crafter: Here Comes Summer

Really Reasonable Ribbon: Picnic / Summer Fun

Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge: Colours of Summer

Crafty Creations: Thank You

  • All paperbased items: Funky Hand, Craft The Year Away cd
