Daring Card Makers Challenge - Mermaids

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Mermaids

I've used a Little Miss Muffet digi stamp I found pre printed in my stash, coloured with Promarkers and liquid pearls.  The papers are from a bargain 6x6 pack I found in my stash plus I delved deeper and found some Basic Grey fibres that were gifted to me and teamed it with some thin lavender ribbon.

I've hand written the sentiment, added liquid pearl dots around the edge of the card and image plus softened it a little with heart vellum die cuts around the image.  Good luck with the challenge!

Daring Card Makers - Vellum

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Vellum

I've made a cute Baby on Board card using a no longer available digi from Jellypark which I've coloured with Promarkers.  Papers are from my stash and I have a feeling they are really old Polkadoodles; added liquid pearl dots and a circle of vellum behind the image.  Ribbon, bakers twine, half pearls and baby carriage charm from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 7 - Dr Digi

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by Dr Digi and I've used this fab World's Best Dad digi which I've coloured with Promarkers and added glossy accents to his specs.  The papers are from my stash and are from Funky Hand which no longer trades.  Sentiment is cut from an alphabet die set and offcuts of paper.

Good luck with the challenge!

Octavia the Ostrich

I've been wanting to colour up Octavia the Ostrich from Dr Dig for quite some time but just never got round to it but made this for one of my team who was having a birthday.  Also used one of the very many paper doilies I have in my stash that I've not got a clue why I bought them.  Handwritten sentiment and Octavia has been coloured with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue on her tail feathers.

Papers are all random bits from my stash hence why there are some tiny pieces!

I Love Promarkers - Challenge 413 - Digi Doodle Studio

It's Wednesday so time for a new I ❤ Promarkers challenge!  The theme this fortnight is

Embellishments

And we are sponsored by Digi Doodle Studio and I've used Caliope's Cupcake and coloured it with Promarkers.  I found some old papers in my stash - these are from Funky Hand are are no longer available and I used the many half pearls I have in my stash to match the colour scheme!  I found a small oddment of vellum too and used this - you can't see the gap underneath the image!

I found the sentiment as I'd stamped it a while ago and not used it.  The cupcake has been dotted with glossy accents and then very fine glitter sprinkled over the top.

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodles Challenge

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make something with 4 equal squares so I've gone back into my stash and used a Winnie Die and various papers to create the 4 squares - the big dotted one is Vintage Candy 6x6 - I do save all my little scraps which were perfect for the die cut elements!  The vellum is from my stash and it wasn't long enough so the gap is hidden under the die cut!

I've added some half pearls from my stash and the card is complete!  Good luck with the challenge!

This fortnight the challenge is sponsored by Knitty Kitty Digis and I've used Knitted Kitty and coloured him up with Promarkers.  I've used a frame die cut plus a vellum circle to layer the kitty on plus a really old 6x6 sheet from my stash - Trimcraft The Christmas Multi Stack (not got many sheets left!) which I've probably had for over 10 years!

Sentiment has been cut with a Sizzix die and I've doodled a running stitch around the edge of the card with a black fine liner pen.  Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Special Birthday or Anything Goes

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make something for a special Birthday and I've made a 40th card for a work colleague.  I've used papers from Bright and Beautiful 6x6 pad plus the Butterfly Trio die - cutting the smallest butterfly twice - once with an offcut of the papers and again with pale pink vellum.

I've used Ruby Sweet and coloured her with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue on her dress.  I cut from some more pale pink organza, a layer using the Bubbleicious Frame die and then added half pearls here and there.  To finish, I've added a big bow made with the Pink Ribbon paper and added a half pearl to the centre.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Using Up Scraps

I admit, I am a bit of a hoarder and I don't like to throw off-cuts of paper or card away unless its tiny.  So I have a few folders that they all go in, with same download or cd clipped together for easy future reference.

I was making some Father's Day cards and came across these off-cuts from the Sticks and Bones download.  I used the Posydoodles Tags die and the Happy Birthday die as I wanted to keep it quite simple.  Plus I used a kraft card blank and a piece of vellum.

Because the scraps were not big enough to fill the card, I had to be creative and use blocks, cutting to size as I went.

I cut the sentiment twice for extra depth and layered up as shown.  I then added some twine to the top of the tag, some half pearls and doodled a running stitch around the panels for extra effect.

Great quick card!  I'd like to enter the following:

Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Junior Hatter Pine

Sharing the last of my 2018 Christmas cards and for this I've used Junior Hatter Pine from Little Miss Muffet Stamps with Junior Hatter Add on Faces A - the add on faces are easy to use in a graphics programme, you just need to make sure you line it all up correctly!

The papers are some that I've had in my stash for a long time and they are from Funky Hand - I'm trying to use up all the digital papers I have that are remaining from previous projects; I think they will keep me going for some time!!

Ribbon and bakers twine are from my stash.  I've used a Sizzix die to cut the vellum behind the image and simply added a doodled line around the edge of the vellum and card base.
