Polkadoodles Challenge - Sorry I'm Late

It's time for a new Polkadoodles challenge and the theme as always is

The DT were challenged to make a Sorry I'm Late card so I've used Winston Bear - Etty Shy and coloured her with Promarkers.  I've kept the card really clean and simple and have added a vellum die cut using the Posydoodles Basics Circles die, layered on the Bubblicious die; plus the tag was handwritten and I used the Posydoodles Basics Tag die.  I've added a vellum butterfly die cut

I've added a few pink gems to the flowers and the butterfly for extra detail.  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Polkadoodle Challenge - Special Birthday or Anything Goes

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make something for a special Birthday and I've made a 40th card for a work colleague.  I've used papers from Bright and Beautiful 6x6 pad plus the Butterfly Trio die - cutting the smallest butterfly twice - once with an offcut of the papers and again with pale pink vellum.

I've used Ruby Sweet and coloured her with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue on her dress.  I cut from some more pale pink organza, a layer using the Bubbleicious Frame die and then added half pearls here and there.  To finish, I've added a big bow made with the Pink Ribbon paper and added a half pearl to the centre.

This week we are sponsored by Polkadoodles and I've used Ruby Prom and coloured her with Promarkers.  The papers are all offcuts from making a word book a long time ago and are from Funky Hand - Funky Daze cd which is no longer available.  I've used the Bubblecious Frame die and cut out the centre, adding dots of liquid pearls.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Recycle

Welcome to a new Polkadoodle challenge, the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to Recycle so I've recycled the reverse of an old Christmas card for the frame die cut.  I've used Ruby Sweet and coloured her with Promarkers and added papers from Fredericka Mini CD collection plus used the wonderful Bubbleicious Frame die.

I've used a small card blank and round the edges I've dotted a line of liquid pearls.  The sentiment is from the Bits and Pieces 6x6 Ephemera Pack, plus a little glitter glue dots here and there and my card is finished!

The DT were challenged to CASE a fellow DT and to say who it is.  I've gone for Andrea - I like her layouts and pins!  And because I recently remembered I had a fair few pins in my stash, it was perfect!

I've used paper from the Itsy Ditsy 6x6 pad plus card from my stash to cut the Bubbleicious frame die.  The image is Earlie Hedgehog Balloon which I've coloured with promarkers and added glitter glue to her balloon.  Ribbons and pins are from my stash.

I picked this cute image - Gigi Little Mermaid and coloured her up with Promarkers plus a little bit of glitter here and there.  The background frame has been cut by the Bubblicious frame from Polkadoodles and I found a random bit of card in my stash which matched the colours!

The Design Team were challenged to create something Christmas.  I've used one of the pre-coloured images from the Winnie White Christmas collection and printed it directly onto white linen effect cardstock.  I've glittered the wings and hat with stickles plus used watercolour pencils for the background which shows off the grain on the card.

I've cut the image using the Bubbleicious Frame, added it with foam pads to an offcut of card - left over from making a square card from a sheet of A4.  Ribbon and buttons from my stash.

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 28 - Anything Goes

Welcome to a new Colour Crazy Challenge!  This week our sponsor is Pickled Potpourri and we were generously provided with a range of images to work with!  The theme of our challenges as always is:

For my first card I've used one image from a set of four vintage cars - simply printed directly onto linen effect white cardstock and coloured with Aquamarkers.  Really quick and easy - I cut the image out with an X Cut die and then layered it onto some black card from my stash.  I've added a dotted frame around the image with a black fineliner pen and then the same around the edge of the black card with a white gel pen.

And my second card uses Bubble Over and I've used Promarkers for colouring.  The frame is a Polkadoodles die cut - Bubbleicious Frames and I've used ribbon, pearls and a charm from my stash.  The edges of the card have been dotted with liquid pearls.

But the DT were challenged to add flowers.  I've used Work and Play 11 and made a card for a work colleague who was moving teams, and she actually does look like the image!  I've also used the Bubbleicious Frames and flowers die.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Die Cuts or Anything Goes

We're part way through the current Polkadoodle Challenge which is:

Anything Goes

The Design Team were challenged to use die cuts.  I've used the beautiful Bubbleicious Die - the initial die cut is from a paper from Belle Papillon Collection and then inlaid it with another die cut using kraft card, adding half pearls to the 'bubbles'.  The oval die was used to add to the centre.  Butterfly is also from the Belle Papillon Collection which I've carefully cut out and then added the antenna as a die cut from a Memory Box die.

I've lightly distressed the edges of the paper and added it to an acetate card blank.  The butterfly, for extra dimension has had its wings curled slightly.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Christmas Non Card or Anything Goes

The current Polkadoodle challenge still has a week to run and the theme is

The DT had a theme of Christmas but not to be a card.  I've made a cute tag with kraft card (Sizzix tag die used) plus a swirly bit from a little X Cut holly and berries die.  The red and green papers are printed (double sided) from Winnie Winterland papers and I've used the flowers from the Bubbleicious Frames die, pinched the edges and layered up using foam pads.

The centres are seed beads which have been glued with glossy accents.  Some organza ribbon from my stash and its complete!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Christmas Red and Green or Anything Goes

This is the second week of the current Polkadoodle challenge and I've used the wonderfully Christmas (especially in red!) Bubbleicious Frame as my background and starting point then made a wreath of poinsettias with  the very versatile Flowers 2 dies - I pinched the edges to create the flower shape.

Papers are printed from Winnie Winter Wonderland (print on both sides so you don't get any white showing) plus added some seed beads to the centres.  And to finish off, the little tiny sentiment tags have been cut with the Versatile Door / Window / Flap die.

I used some cream card for the base as white was too stark and dotted a line around the edge with a gold gel pen.  Although you can't see it, I made a wreath from some dark brown raffia and it looked really good!
