The Simply Create Too challenge is part way through so its time for some extra inspiration! The theme is Anything But A Card, and here is my take on the challenge:
The papers are all from Funky Hand - Dreams Come True cd (a bargain at £6.99!) including the flowers which I've printed off larger by selecting an area and then copying to word and enlarging.
I've added half pearls to the flower centres and handwrote the sentiment on the tag.
Good luck with the challenge!

Gift Bag
Just after Christmas I bought a job lot of white takeaway bags from ebay (I think I got 50) so I have a few to get through. So as the current From The Heart Stamps Sketch challenge had a twist not to make a card, I decided to use one of the bags.
I already had the image coloured from when I found some time on my hands (wish it would happen more often) - its called Mixed Bouquet and I've coloured it with Promarkers. To be honest, its a good job I used it on this bag as I printed the image rather large!
I've used some lilac card from my stash along with papers from Funky Hand - Dreams Come True cd (and if you're quick there is a 50% off sale - so the cd is now only £3.50!!!) I've added some faux stitching and a button from my stash along with embroidery thread bow.

Jellypark Stamp Spotlight - Girl In Bee Costume
There is a new feature every other Friday on the Jellypark Challenge blog - a stamp spotlight! So the weeks in between the challenges one of the Design Team gets to pick a favourite image from the Jellypark store and we feature it and show off what we've created with it too!
Today is the turn of Girl in Bee Costume.
I've made her into a gift card holder (was on a roll with the Polkadoodles ones - see a previous post!) and used offcuts of Funky Hand card to make the holder. I used an X Cut oval die for the main shape and coloured the image with Promarkers plus a little stickles on the wings.
She really is a cutie! If you've made something with the stamp and want to show us, just head over to the Challenge blog and leave a link in the comments section and we can come and visit you! And if you fancy getting the digi stamp - it is only £1.25 so it won't break the bank and consider it a calorie free treat on a Friday!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Card and Scrap: Wings
Oozak: Bright Colours
Sparkles Forum: Summer Fun
Bearly Mine: Ribbons and Bows
Flourishes: Summer
Tuesday Throwdown: Summertime

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 12 - Families
It will teach me to leave things to the last minute! I had no power this morning and because I'd not written the Crimbo Crackers challenge post, nor this one, everything is a few hours behind!
There is a new Crimbo Crackers challenge this fortnight and the theme is
This can be humans or animals but as long as more than two people / animals are depicted and that it is Christmas or Festive related then it can be entered!
I have a new sponsor to Crimbo Crackers - Crafty Sentiment Designs who are offering 3 digis to the winner of this challenge!
I got to play with one of their images - Snowman Couple - which I have coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Funky Hand - Dreams Come True cd and I've added glitter glue around the edges plus a very sparkly Christmas tree decoration which I found lurking at the bottom of my Christmas box! The ribbon bow at the top looks a bit of an odd colour in the photo but it actually matches the colour of the paper in real life! I printed the sentiment on the pc.

Dude Time Doodles - April New Release & Blog Hop!
It's the last Wednesday of the month so its time to reveal the new Dude Time Doodles images and as it is customary, we have a blog leap for you!
One of the Dudettes will be the hostess with the mostest and one lucky commenter will win a digi image! So make sure you leave me a comment - as you've got to be in it to win it!
If you've arrived at me from Michelle then you are on the right track although there is no start and end point, just make sure you've visited us all! From me you need to hop to CG and leave a comment there too!!

I've used the Boxer image, coloured with Promarkers and glossy accents on the hearts and added it to the circle card with some string - so it swings! The papers are from Dreams Come True cd from Funky Hand which I've had in my stash for ages from a previous project and I was lucky as I had just enough for the circle card base and the letters are from Kirsty Wiseman - Patti Picklicious cd. I've simply inked the edges and it's finished!
Good luck with the hop - and don't forget to leave us all a comment!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Digital Tuesday: Favourite Colour
Party Time Tuesdays: Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash: Circles or Dots
Digi Makeover: For The Boys

And our sponsor The Digi Garden:

And our sponsor The Digi Garden:And here is my take on the sketch! I've used Funky Hand papers - Dreams Come True cd and used the cute Oscar digi stamp, colouring him with Promarkers. I've used my Nesties for layering plus some faux stitching and some ribbon from my stash.

Jellypark Challenge 15 - Winter Wonderland
It's Jellypark challenge time! And its a great theme for this fortnight too:
It's turned cold here, up North, and we had a rather heavy hail shower last night! I've used this cute snowman image which is a freebie on the Jellypark website - just click here to go and snag it!

I've coloured it with Promarkers and used papers from Dreams Come True cd from Funky Hand. I am desperately trying to use up all my oddments but I think it will be a case of the bit of card is too small to be used and I just need a clear out which, I think (and hope!) will solve the problem of the overflowing shoe box!
The starry tinsel down the side was a bargain purchase from Poundstretchers - 49p for around 3 metres and I bought it pre-sale too! The snowflake is a tree decoration from Tesco - 3 for 50p - looks great but the glitter sure gets everywhere!
I've added some fake brads to the top right corner - Promarker with glossy accents over the top.
Good luck with the challenge - for more details and how to enter, and also the rules, please pop over to the challenge blog.
I've got two new release digi stamps from Jellypark to show you over the next day or so but bear with me - I've got a rather hectic weekend with the boys karting and I don't know what day I'm on already!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Sassy Studios: Christmas / Holiday - Use Up Your Scraps
Crafting for All Seasons: Blue and White
Little Red Wagon: Winter Wonderland
Sisterhood of Crafters: Striped Paper
Whimsy Inspirations: Pearls or Bling (bling - snowflake)

Get Funky Challenge - Autumn Theme
It's my turn to hopefully provide some inspiration for the current Get Funky Challenge!
I really do like making word books but this one does not use any templates - I've printed the pages and then made the letters using wordart, cut everything out, layered the letters and then stuck it down!

Some gold stickles around the letters with the smaller letters being die cuts plus some matching ribbon from my stash and its all complete! All the papers are from Dreams Come True.
Don't forget that you MUST use at least one Funky Hand product in your creation and if you don't have anything just click on THIS link and you will find a freebie that will fit the theme perfectly!
Good luck and we can't wait to see what you create! Closing date is Monday 14 November and a new challenge will be set the day after.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
2 Sisters: Ribbon
Allsorts: Anything But Square
Craft Your Days Away: Autumn
Cute Card Thursday: Baby You're A Firework

Dude Time Doodles November Release & Blog Hop!
It's the last Wednesday of the month so its time to reveal the new Dude Time Doodles images and to kick it all off we have a blog hop for you!
One of the Dudettes will be the hostess with the mostest and one lucky commenter will win a digi image! So make sure you leave me a comment - I've not yet been the hostess so this could be the one!!
If you've arrived at me from Dawn then you are on the right track although there is no start and end point, just make sure you've visited us all! From me you need to hop to Cleota and leave a comment there too!!
It's a double whammy again from me this month as I've been given two images to work with! First up is Brieley Soldier and he's been coloured with Promarkers. Background has been made with an offcut of printed card (Funky Hand but can't remember the actual cd - sorry!) and I've added a die cut strip of trees that I've had in my stash for years! A bit of garden twine and it is done!
Next up is Naughty Santa and his bag of coal! Both sentiments come with the image which has been coloured with Promarkers and a bit of glitter glue. I've made a simple wobble card for something a little different (Funky Hand - Dreams Come True cd) plus some silver confetti snowflakes.

Good luck with the hop and don't forget to leave a comment! Once I'm awake I'll directly link to the blogs in the hop before and after me!
I'd like to enter my cards into the following challenges:

Timeless Tuesday: Trees and Leaves
Santa

Get Funky Challenge - At The Beach
I'm bringing up the rear this month for the Get Funky challenge! And just metaphorically either if you look at what I've created! I've made three bikini cards each with matching bottoms (on the reverse) and the template I found by googling 'bikini card template'.
The challenge is
And although you may not see many of these in the UK I'm sure you would somewhere hot and exotic! All the papers I've used are from Dreams Come True and I've printed them at A5 size so that the print was smaller.

The frills have been made with a heart shaped punch with the pointy bit hidden underneath. I've added some inking and I've also dotted either stickles or liquid pearls around the edges for extra bling. All ribbon and embellishments are from my stash and matched perfectly!

Apologies for the photo being the wrong way up - Blogger just will not play!

Green Pants
It's been a while since these pants have had an airing. And what better way than to enter the Whimsie Doodles challenge which is:
I've used one of the images from the Christmas Undies digi set and printed it three times, coloured with Promarkers and added to the card with an oddment of string from the scrap store. I've used some lime green eyelets from my stash and stamped the sentiment with a little wooden Studio g alphabet stamp set.

The green card is from my stash (I dread to think how long I've actually had it!) and the black with white polkadots is from Funky Hand - Dreams Come True.

Get Funky Challenge - Sketch
It's my turn to hopefully inspire you for the current Get Funky! Challenge! This month Anice is our hostess and she's provided a wonderful sketch to work with:
I decided to alter an address book that had a rather horrid cover and have used papers and the little house digi stamp is from the workspace section of Colour Me Happy which has been coloured with Aquamarkers. I've used a Nestie for the shape and have dotted liquid pearls around the edge.
I also decided to use the sketch to make a new house card. Papers are from the Salt and Pepper download and the image is from Dreams Come True. The ribbon and tiny key charm are from my stash.
Good luck with the challenge - for more details go to Get Funky and the deadline is 14 July.
And if you've not already popped over to the Fetch A Sketch pre launch party - please do so! Some candy on offer to two lucky commenters plus some extra prizes along the way! The Fetch A Sketch challenges launch on Monday 27 June at 9am!
My creations fit the following challenges:
The Crafty Pad: New Home
Craft Your Days Away: Monochrome
Just Some Lines: Spotty Dotty
Phindy's Place: Black and White

Football
Two cards in one day!! And this one is also a Tiddly Inks image which I've coloured with Promarkers. It's for the Digital Tuesday challenge which asks:
This card is for Jacob as one of his friends from school has invited him to his Birthday party. I checked with Jacob that his friend has blonde hair. His response 'it will be alright'. Lets hope so eh?!
The main paper is from Dreams Come True from Funky Hand and the smaller paper is from a craft cd that was free in a recent magazine. I've layered everything with black card and the sentiment is computer generated.
Underneath the image is a strip of corrugated navy blue card - just does not show too well in the photo (it was chucking it down at the time!) The little silver stars are from my stash along with the football die cut.

That's Not My Hand!
Over on Dude Time Doodles it's time for Fill The Guest Designer Spot where you get a freebie image to play with, make a creation, link it up with the blog and you just never know, you may get picked to play along with the Dudettes for a month!
The freebie this week is Bobby Bubbles who, along with his rubber ducky is enjoying the bathtub, when along came a............aaaaaggh!!!
I've used the image to make my card for the Cards For Men Challenge which asks for
It's been coloured with Promarkers, edges inked and then dotted with a blue gel pen. The backing papers - perfect spotty match, (and even better as they were still lying on the table from a few projects ago!) are from Dreams Come True from Funky Hand. The little letters are also from Funky Hand but the Spooky Dookie download. A bit of faux stitching around the edges and the card is complete.
Hope you can join in the quest for a Guest Designer spot - and what better way to get a Dude Time Doodles freebie!

I've used the image to make my card for the Cards For Men Challenge which asks forWater

Colourful Whale
Time for another Tiddly Inks challenge and this week the theme is:
So. Something bright and colourful. I printed off the whale which was a freebie ages ago when I first discovered Tiddly Inks and I've coloured it with Promarkers (plus glossy accents on the hearts - no card will ever be safe from glossy accents again!) I then decided to cut it out and add to an acetate card (had some lying around and was too lazy to put away!)
The 'waves' paper is from Dreams Come True by Funky Hand (and was also lying around so had to use it!) and I've attempted to cut waves into the paper, inked the edges and then slightly curled them. The fishy backing paper was a bargain 12x12 sheet from K and Co - Flat Whale and I bought it for 25p a while ago.
Bit of dotting around the edge of the bright paper with a blue gel pen and its complete! Not sure if the whale will stay attached as I've used glue and in my experience it tends to dry a bit too much over time....
Colour Me!

Dude Time Doodles Challenge 9 - Sketch
It's the first Wednesday of the month so its time for a sketch challenge at Dude Time Doodles! It actually takes me longer to decide which image to use than it does to make the card each time! This time, I've chosen Pete Plumber and coloured him with Promarkers. I've computer generated the sentiment and added brads from my stash.

The spotty papers are from Dreams Come True by Funky Hand and the red is Bazzill cardstock. To be in with a chance of winning, simply follow the sketch, make a male themed card or project and have fun! If you have a Dude Time Doodle image, then use it - we love to see them! For more details visit the challenge blog! Good luck!

Red and Yellow Daisies
Tell me if my photos are looking a little dark - they seem dark to me when I'm typing the blog posts but when I actually view the photos themselves, they look fine.....
Anyway, this card is for the Penny Black Saturday challenge which is a recipe:
The image, of course is Penny Black and I bought the stamped image from here. The blue spotty papers are from Funky Hand Dreams Come True cd (Blue Magic collection) plus I've used some red card from my stash as the third paper requirement.
The ribbon is from my stash and was the perfect length too and I also found the charm there too (I'm sure they are multiplying as I found some that I didn't even know I had!)
The image has been coloured with Aquamarkers and I've added some faux stitching around the panels and also the card blank just to pull it all together. I bought a fair few Penny Black images from Linda so I'm hoping I'll get some time for a colouring marathon where I can try and get ahead of myself for a change!

Washing Line Teddy Bear
It's been a while since I joined in with a Sassy Cheryl's challenge so I was determined to start fresh for the New Year!
The current challenge is:
And I've used a freebie image which has been coloured with Aquamarkers. I started colouring the bear with Jacob watching me as he was fascinated to how I could use water with my pens. I built the colour up (he kept saying it was not bear coloured!) and then blended it all with water. Aquamarkers give such a rich colour that is quite difficult to achieve with traditional watercolours plus there is less mess and less chance of colours running into one another!

The papers are from Funky Hand's Dreams Come True cd (the So What? collection) as these were lying in my scrap box and I am determined to see the bottom (or close to!) of the box at some point during the next 12 months!
The two flowers are from my stash along with the ribbon which was a perfect match to the orange felt flower. It's actually quite a bright and in your face card in real life!
