It's Friday so time for another
Daring Card Makers challenge! As its the first Friday of the month it's time for an elemental inspiration and here is the inspiration:
And here is the card I made using the colours, hearts and the flamingo.
I treated myself to a daylight lamp over Christmas and wondered why I never got one before as its given me so much extra time to craft in the evenings especially as its been dark a fair few hours by the time I get home from work in an evening! And as it happened, this little flamingo die popped into my shopping basket too and as it was only a few pound it was fine!
It's an X Cut die and I've layered the wings and added an eye plus heavily glittered the middle flamingo and added the scarf and boots too. Each flamingo I coloured with promarkers as I didn't have enough range of pinks in scrap card to use. The sentiment is handwritten.
The card blank I made especially to fit some envelopes that were originally with a set of Christmas cards that I bought a few years ago in the sales - I buy these just for the envelopes!
