A Make Do Round

I was sent some scalloped edged card blanks a while ago by Enfys, however I wanted a purple one to match the Lily Boo image I coloured. Why I don't find the papers / card first and then colour the images I will never know. And will never learn!

So, I've traced round an existing one so its a little wobbly in places. The Lily Boo Too challenge this month is

Anything Goes

The purple card is from my stash, along with the ribbon and the gems. I've gone around the edges of the scallops with a white gel pen to provide a contrast.

The image is Lily Boo from Circle Girls and I've coloured it with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue. And no sentiment as it would spoil the balance of the card!

Caterpillar

For some bizzare reason I've not yet blogged this card for the Lily-Boo Too challenge which asks for a

Summer Theme

I made it earlier in the month and its just slipped down my draft posts!

Anyway, I don't know what the backing papers are as they do not have a name on them and they are physical papers rather than digital. The ribbon and brads are from my stash, along with the flowers.

The image is a Lily Boo too freebie which I've coloured with Promarkers. A bit of doodling and that's it!

Six

Another great challenge over on Lily Boo Too for May which is:

Shaped Cards

I am very chuffed to have won the April Challenge with this card and I got to pick two sets of digi stamps (which took me ages!) so look out for me using those two sets in the future. Thank you so much to Lou and the Design Team for choosing me for April!!

Anyway, onto the May challenge. I've made a word book which spells out the word six. I've used papers from Funky Daze which have been printed onto lovely white linen effect card. The letter shapes were made using Word Art in Word and I've outlined them with a black Sharpie marker.

I've dangled a silver princess charm from the last letter, added some glitter glue here and there and added a funky bow to keep the book from falling apart!

Apologies for the slightly over exposed photo but at least you can see how vibrant the colours are!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Lovely weather we are having! And so fitting for this card which is for the Lily Boo Too Challenge for April which is:

Spring Colours - Yellow, Pale Green and Blossom

I've used papers from Retro Fun Word Book download from Funky Hand with an image I got as part of the Special 50/50 Digital Crafting Group from Soft Pencil. Isn't it such a lovely image?

I've coloured it with my Promarkers and you can now see that my range of colours has been extended - I now have 3 packs (and a fourth is on it's way!) The sky has been coloured with watercolour pencils as the blue I have was a little too dark.

I've added organza ribbon underneath the bottom of the image and fastened it with a matching button and some fancy shaped wire. Only because it was an off cut of ribbon and only just the right length!!

Ladybird Love

The monthly Lily Boo Too challenge is set by the very lovely and talented Enfys and the theme is:

Valentine

As luck would have it, there is a freebie download for the challenge too and I've used it for my card! I've coloured the image with felt tips (poor man version of Copics / Promarkers!) I've used two of my only set of Nesties to frame the image which I've inked with black ink around the edges.
The backing tiny check paper is from Sugar Birdies from Polkadoodles and the ribbon is from my stash. I did want a larger knot for the ribbon but it was a tad short and I was determined to use it!

The gems are from my stash. A pretty quick card to make so don't know why its taken me nearly a month to do it!!

Glittery Flowers for a Birthday Girl

There was a freebie image of the fairy to help along the October Lily-Boo Too challenge! For their second month it is a sketch challenge:

And I made this Birthday card using papers from Funky Seasons - Cold Snap collection. I've lightly inked the edges in blue and doodled a line around the inner layer and also the triangle shape under the image.

The fabric flowers are from my stash - the hard glittery ones came from a mug swop I took part in - my sender was Sarah (hello!) and they fitted in with the colour scheme perfectly! And I wrote the name in my very own posh handwriting!

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils and the obligatory glitter glue on the wings. The image is quite apt really, as Emily does look a bit like her. Just without the wings. Although, probably as a 4 year old, she will have a set somewhere.

Lili Boo Too - September Download & Recipe Challenge

There is a new challenge blog! Lily-Boo Too Challenges - they are monthly and this is their first one! There is an image to download for the challenge which is also a recipe to use:

Two ribbons, 3 flowers and 4 brads

And here is my card! I've coloured the image with watercolour pencils, layered it twice onto some co-ordinating cardstock that I found in my stash and added the 4 brads to each of the corners.

The orange ribbon you may have seen before here (waste not want not!) and the red grosgrain is from my stash. The three mulberry paper sunflowers I've had for years and they worked better than any of the flowers I could find!

Apologies for the dark photos - it just seems to be dark all the time!
