Polkadoodles Challenge - Spring Flowers

It's time for a new Polkadoodles challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a Mother's Day card with Spring Flowers.  I've used one of the pre-coloured Darling Buds images and layered her onto a vellum oval cut with a Posydoodle Basics Oval die.  I've also cut a tag using the Posydoodles Basics Tag die - the sentiment comes with the Darling Buds download.

The background is a Cuttlebug embossing die and the ribbon is from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 48 - Oddball Stamps

Time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

We are sponsored by Oddball Stamps and I've used Rudolph Cute Reindeer image, coloured with Promarkers.  I've used some kraft card to layer the image on and for the card base and I found a really old printed digi paper in my stash that worked well with the colour theme.

The ovals were cut using my Posydoodles Ovals die set and the snowflake is a die I found in my stash, topped with a half pearl.  To add a bit of colour, I used some baby pink embroidery thread from my stash and a bit of sparkly thread too.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp also from Polkadoodles but now retired.

Polkadoodles Challenge - Anything Goes or 6 Christmas Gift Tags

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make 6 Christmas Gift tags with ribbon or string, so this is what I came up with!  I've used the largest Posydoodles Basics Oval die as the tag and stamped a sentiment on each, adding burgundy half pearls to the bottom.

I made a pillow box and added a strip of paper from Snowtime Like Christmas 6x6 paper pack.  To finish off the tag, I've added a wooden snowflake and some burgundy waxed cord in a bow.

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Baubles and Bows

Time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and the theme this week is

Baubles and Bows

I've made a pillow box from an A4 sheet of kraft card, and from the off cuts I die cut a tag using one of the Posydoodles Basics Oval dies and used one of the now retired acrylic stamps.  I've added some half pearls to the bottom of the tag and the ribbon is from my stash.

The two baubles I got in a box of 30 from Primark a few years ago for a few pounds and are perfect for projects like this!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Anything Goes or Something Moving

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and the theme, as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make something that featured a cake and had movement!  I've used one of the images from Winnie Celebrations 3 and coloured her up with Promarkers and a bit of glitter glue,  The sentiment is also from the same collection.  The papers are from the lush Itsy Ditsy 6x6 paper pack and I've used the largest of the Posydoodles Basics oval dies.

I've added some balloons with wire and I used the round body of the snowman from the Happy Festive Snowman die!  I've coloured them with Promarkers and then added lots of glitter glue so that they sparkle.  To hide where I've added them to the card, I've added a big bow and a cake charm.
