Another World's Best Dad Father's Day card using an image from Dr Digi and a sentiment from the Father's Day Sentiment Sheet which I've coloured with Promarkers to match the colour scheme. Papers are ancient as I'm trying to use up my stash and I've added some half pearls for added detail.

Father's Day: World's Best Dad
Father's Day is fast approaching and here is a card I made using World's Best Dad from Dr Digi and a sentiment from the bargain Father's Day Sentiment Sheet. Image has been coloured with Promarkers plus glossy accents for the glasses and the papers are almost as old as time - I'm trying to use up all my stash but I have a feeling it will outlive me! Found some card candy too so those have been added.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Father's Day
It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and this week the theme is
Anything Goes
The DT were challenged to make a Father's Day card and I've used Wizardly Magic Little Dude, coloured with Promarkers and added glossy accents to his glasses. I've made a star card from my own template and a sheet of kraft card.
Good luck with the challenge!

Another Father's Day Pint
Here I am again with another Father's Day card using Pint Glass from Dr Digi along with a sentiment from the Father's Day sheet which I've printed onto kraft card. The image I've shaded with a black fine liner pen - its so nice to be able to do this rather than use colour!
The papers I found in my stash when I had a tidy up a while ago. Not got a clue where they are from but they fitted the theme perfectly! Black elastic has been recycled from something else - not got a clue from where - just found it!
I'd like to enter the following:

The Great Outdoors
This is the Father's Day card I made my Dad - using The Great Outdoors image from Dr Digi which I've coloured with Promarkers and coloured pencils. Papers are from a rather paper pad that I bought years ago in the sale from Papermania - Secret Garden 6x6 papers and because they weren't big enough for the card blank, I've had to arrange them in a random pattern after I'd cut them into 4.
Sentiment is also from Dr Digi - Father's Day Sentiments and I printed it onto kraft card. Base of chocolate brown card is from my stash along with the two charms and the waxed brown cord.
I'd like to enter the following:

I've coloured the image with Promarkers plus added a little glossy accents to the bubble.

Beer For Dad
It's another quick card from me today using a Dr Digi image - this time it is Pint - Colour. Great for when you're in a hurry and haven't got time to colour yourself!
The backing paper is actually part of a card blank from Mr Mister collection and I've used the wooden letters (see previous two weeks posts) as a template on kraft card. I've added a handwritten tag and then used the same fineliner black pen to add a faux running stitch around the edge of the patterned paper and letters.
Everything else is from my stash.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Polkadots
Time for a new Polkadoodle challenge! The theme for the fortnight is:
However, as you will have guessed by now, the DT are challenged to produce something else, and this one is Polkadots!
I've used papers from Fredericka Mini CD which proves that girly papers don't need to just be used for girly cards! The letters are my own templates and I've added them with foam pads for extra depth. I've also added dotted liquid pearls plus silver circle die cuts and the sentiment are Clearly Besotted die cuts.
Good luck with the challenge! For more inspiration, pop over to the challenge blog.

Seedling For Dad
Another quick Father's Day card and this one is for one of my uncles from his daughter and he is a very keen gardener! The background paper is actually half of a card blank from the Mr Mister range from Dovecraft (I thought it was a paper pack when I bought it!) plus the wooden letters are from the same collection.
I've handwritten the tag and added some dark brown paper twine to the end. The seedling is an image from Dr Digi which I've coloured with Promarkers.

A quick and easy card for my Dad for Father's Day. I've used elements from the Tea Time Set from Dr Digi - one of the backing papers plus the cuppa image.
The wooden letters are a Mr Mister embellishment pack from Dovecraft which I bought ages ago and have been saving them for a Father's Day make! I've coloured the cuppa image with Promarkers. Additional embellishments are from my stash.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Die Cuts
We are half way through the current Polkadoodle challenge and the theme which has a week left to run is:
So nice and easy! I was asked to make a card for a new Daddy on Father's Day so I used the template from Paper Boutique Vol 1, traced the letters, added an extra 'd' and then made my own letter 'y' and added it all on the end.
The die cuts I've used are stars, the larger ones are an X Cut die and the tiny ones are a little punch which is great for using on scraps. I've hand written the sentiment and used very blingy silver card and plain black from my stash. And to finish it off, I've added some half pearls to the sliver larger stars.
Good luck with the challenge!
I'd like to enter the following:

More Kraft
Another quick Father's Day card; again used a Jellypark sentiment printed directly onto kraft card, cut it with a Spellbinder die and then layered onto black card. I embossed the background panel with a Cuttlebug folder and then added the burlap (had to be creative with it as it wasn't long enough!)
Buttons are from my stash and I've added some waxed cotton in the centres. Silver stars are punched from a tiny hand punch.

Wonderful Dad
Quick card from me and getting on top of the card orders for Father's Day. I've used a fab Jellypark circle sentiment - Jellypark is no longer trading but I still love the digi's and do miss being on the DT.
I printed the sentiment onto kraft card and then layered into onto black card; the embossed panel (Cuttlebug) was also layered onto black card. The little silver stars are a punch.
A bit of inking and faux running stitch around the edge of the card and its complete! I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Polkadoodle Challenge - One For The Boys
Another Polkadoodle challenge is here! The theme for the fortnight is:
And with Father's Day in the UK just around the corner, perfect time to go way back to an earlier cd - Paper Boutique Vol 1. I've used this particular template loads of times and it always looks good!
I've used one of the Family Affair templates and printed off as A5 size; I've just added a faux running stitch around the edges with a black fineliner pen, handwrote the Sizzix tag and added some extra kraft stars from my X Cut die. Really easy and quick to make!
I've recycled a Graze box for the kraft card - its really good quality and I just have to be careful as to where I cut.
Good luck with the challenge - for more details and inspiration, pop over to Polkadoodles.

Using Scraps
I really don't like to throw anything away and have various boxes to keep all my scraps in. However sometimes these boxes become rather unruly and I make it a priority to use something from them! For this card I used offcuts of card stock for the base - its the long thin strip cut from a sheet of A4 from making a 13.5cm square card - and the embossed panel is a piece of scrap as well as the die cut words.
All the papers are from Funky Hand V Funky CD - Cottage Linens and I've used my trusty Spellbinders for the circles (long gone are the days when I used to use a compass and hand cut them!) plus some card candy.
The die cut words are Clearly Besotted dies and I've had to be creative with the 'day' as it was part of Birthday but I chopped it down!

Grandad in Chair
And here is the second new release digi from Jellypark and this one is called Grandad In Chair. I've coloured it with Promarkers and then cut it out before adding to some offucts of printed paper that I had in my box. The papers are from Funky Hand - Funky Daze cd and this must be one of my most favourite colour collections from the cd!
I've used my X Cut star dies and used left over scraps. The sentiment has been stamped with a little wooden Studio G alphabet stamp.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Having Fun
Here is one of the new release digi's from Jellypark, its called Dad with Kids and it is one of the Charity stamps so all proceeds will go to the Jellypark charity of the year, which currently is The Sick Children's Trust. So for each stamp that is bought, all the proceeds go to the charity!
I've coloured it with Promarkers and then coloured the grass and sky with watercolour pencils. The stripy paper is from Echo Park - Splash and I've used an offcut of kraft card for layering along with some green I found in my box.
The sentiment is also a new release and it's part of a collection of 10 for only £2.25 and each of the stamps has a various Father's Day sentiment on them. I've also coloured it with a combination of Promarkers and watercolour pencils before adding it with foam pads.

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 24 - Father's Day / Male
The weeks are certainly flying by and its time for a new Polkadoodle challenge! The theme this week is:
I've delved into the back catalogue of Polkadoodle cd's and made this cute card - you can make it A4, A5 or A6 sized and its all pre printed too - just cut out and stick! Plus there is the option of colouring one in yourself. Its from the Paper Boutique Vol 1 cd and I've simply printed off the A5 pre coloured version, cut it out and glued it together!
The only extra bits I've added is the running stitch around the edges. So a nice and quick card to make!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
