Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Christmassy Colours

It's time for a new Polkadoodles challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The Design Team were challenged to use Christmassy Colours.  I've used the very pretty Fancy Intricate Bauble and have used very glittery papers from my stash - I actually cut two and then used the negative parts to make up another full bauble.

I cut an aperture using the Fanciful Circles die and placed some vellum behind and then cut another circle and added at the front of the aperture to tidy it up.

Ribbon is from my stash along with the embroidery thread.  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Challenge 195

It's time for a new Little Miss Muffet Challenge and the theme as always is

I've used Backyard Houses BBQ and coloured it with Promarkers - I did have some inspiration from one of the DT members from a while ago and have made mine in a similar way.  The centre has been cut with a stitched circles die and the clouds are a Memory Box die

Dad's 70th - first two

My Dad turned 70 earlier this year and I made him an epic card to celebrate!  The cover was made using Distressed Diamonds papers from Dr Digi - I used my own large number template plus die cut letters from my Sizzix Round-a-bout alphabet.

The first page I made a disclaimer - wording was printed using the computer plus the warning triangles and I added UFO also from Dr Digi, coloured with Promarkers.

Ice Skates

Today is the final of the One Day Special on Hochanda for Polkadoodles and for my sample today I've used the Ice Skates die and I've used some very glittery card with contrasting bow and skates.  The papers are from the Holly Jolly 6x6 paper pack.

The die cut centre circle has been cut with the Fanciful Circles die.

Snowman Poop!

And here is another from me as Polkadoodles is currently on a One Day Special on Hochanda!  I've used papers from Holly Jolly 6x6 paper pack and the wonderful Happy Festive Snowman die.  I've handwritten the sentiment - Snowman Poop!

The 'poop' are actually mini marshmallows and I had to separate the white from all the pink ones that I bought!

Christmas Stocking

Polkadoodles has a One Day Special on Hochanda today and tomorrow (3 and 4 August) and it's all about Christmas!!

Here is one of the many samples I made and I've used papers from the Ho Ho Ho Christmas paper 6x6 pad and used my own stocking template.  I've added a dotted line of liquid pearls around the edges of the stocking and also the paper bow; the top of the stocking has been cut from felt.

The three little baubles are from my stash - I bought a few boxes of tree decorations last year from Primark as I knew they would come in handy for cardmaking and at £2 for 30 baubles it seemed daft not to!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - August Inspirational Elements

It's the first Friday of the month so its time for the Inspirational Elements challenge from the Daring Card Makers!  The inspiration picture is below and you must use at least three elements from it when making your creation:

I've used a now retired From The Heart Stamps image which I've coloured with Promarkers (the sentiment came with the image).  The elements I've used are: bottle, green, wording, yellow, texture.

I've used an image from Jellypark which is no longer available and coloured it with Promarkers - I enlarged it to fit a 7x7 inch envelope so its quite a large card!

We are half way through the current Little Miss Muffet challenge and the theme, as always is

I've used one of the new releases - Polka Dot Pals Eloise who I've coloured with Promarkers and added her to the card with foam pads for extra depth.

I've kept the card fairly simple but was eager to try out my new scalloped die and I found some papers in my stash that went well with her dress.
