Polkadoodles Challenge - Reveal Card

It's time for a new Polkadoodles challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a reveal card, which is something I've never made, so after a bit of thinking and moving papers round, I came up with this!

I've used the ice-lolly from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles, coloured with Promarkers plus added glossy accents on the top chocolate layer and then dropped lots of random seed beads to look like sprinkles.  I also used the cloud paper from Winnie Celebrations 1.  I've used the fluffy cloud dies for extra interest on the card and also as part of the actual reveal.

To cut the reveal window, and the slot from which the pull tab exits, I've used the Door / Window / Flap die and I hand wrote all the sentiments.

And the pull tab reveals:

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Polkadoodles Challenge - So Sweet

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to use the following colours and the theme of So Sweet along with a food theme:

I've made a quick and simple card using the ice lolly from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles download.  I've coloured the image with Promarkers and then added some seed beads from my stash for the sprinkles on top of the lolly.  The sentiment is also from the same collection and I've tied it to the stick with bakers twine.

Nice and simple!  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Polkadoodles Challenge - Female and Colour Palette

It's time for a new Polkadoodles challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make something that featured a female and used the colour palette:

I've used one of the Design Sheets from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles download plus four of the co-ordinating papers to create the scene and made a frame from scraps of kraft card using the Fabulous Mitred Frames and Things die.  To finish I just added some half pearls!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Anything Goes or Beach Theme

It's time for a Polkadoodle challenge and its an Anything Goes challenge!  The DT were asked to make a beach or sea themed project without using a character and to use more than one fold!

I've used the cloud paper from Winnie Celebrations 1 plus the fab ice lolly from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection and the sentiment is from the same collection.  I've coloured the lolly with Promarkers and added some seed beads to the top to look like sprinkles.  I've added some extra clouds using the Fluffy Clouds die, cut from offcuts of card and added with foam pads for extra depth

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Daring Card Makers - September Elemental Inspiration

It's the first Friday of the month so its the Elemental Inspiration photo from the Daring Card Makers!  Don't forget that you need to use at least three elements from the photo and please list them too!

I've used the ice lolly, waves, lettering, dark blue, cyan blue and clean lines.  The ice lolly is from Polkadoodles - Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles download and I've coloured it with Promarkers.

I've scored a border around the edge of the card and the waves die is from Memory Box and I've used scraps from my big folder.  The sentiment is an unbranded die and it cuts beautifully!

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Summertime

We're part way through the current Polkadoodle challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

The Design Team were challenged to create something to do with Summertime or Holidays.  I've used one of the images from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles and enlarged it to fit the whole of my card.  I've added it with foam pads for depth and then added various seed beads from my stash for the hundreds and thousands.

I've used a Sizzix die for the tag and handwrote the sentiment.  Good luck with the challenge!  Pop over to the blog for more inspiration!
