Counting The Years

A Birthday card for the older fellas in our lives!  I've used Drac's Dentures from Dr Digi and coloured him up with Promarkers.  The papers I found in my stash and I've not got a clue where they are from!

I've handwritten the sentiments with a white gel pen on off-cuts of black card and the charm is from my stash.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Non Card Winter Themed

The DT were challenged to create a Winter Themed Non Card.  I've made a cute kraft card gift box - the box die is from Sizzix (it came with the Big Shot!) and I've used papers from Winnie White Christmas to make the gift bow - layered onto the off cuts of kraft card from making the box.

The tag is also from the collection - I added the wording using Pic Monkey and then added some thin red satin ribbon from my stash.  The little stars were cut from glittered cardstock (amazing that I had some in the same colours!!) using a little X Cut die.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 144 - Quick and Easy

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme I've set for the fortnight is:

Quick and Easy

I've made a card using one of the pre coloured image panels from the Polkadoodles Winnie White Christmas collection.  I've added the sentiment using a free graphics programme and then added extra holly as decoupage and some small X cut glittery stars.  Half pearls have been added as berries to the holly.

And I think it took me about 15 minutes to make the card!

Stampin' Unicorn - Blooms

Here is my first creation with these wonderful Stampin' Unicorn clear stamps!  I've made a simple repeat stamped panel using the All About Daisy set.  I coloured an additional daisy with Promarkers plus a leaf, cut them out and added to the panel with foam pads.

I coloured strips of card with the same Promarkers to layer behind the panel.  Finally, I scored a border around the edge and added some chunky glass beads to the daisy centres.

Easy peasy!!  And so many possibilities!

Grumpy

A quick card made with one of the Grumpy Sentiments from Dr Digi, enlarged so it became the focal point and then printed.  I've also added Pint Glass from Dr Digi, coloured with Promarkers.

The stars are cut from off-cuts of scrap card with an X Cut die and then layered with foam pads.

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 42 - Crafty Sentiments

I've used Day Dreaming and coloured him with Promarkers.  I found some scraps of paper in my stash that were offcuts from a previous project and as they were only strips, I had to be creative to get them to fit around the image and embossing panel.

The embossed star panel is From Me To You and I've added faux stitching round the edges.  Buttons and embroidery thread are also from my stash.

Toolshed Ted

Here is Ted pottering around in his garden!  I've coloured Toolshed Ted from Dr Digi with Promarkers and then attached him to the card base with a strip of acetate so he can be moved about.  The numbers show 65 and I've used my Clearly Besotted grass die (offcuts of card coloured with Promarkers) to cover them.  The templates for the numbers are my own creation.

The wooden board backing paper is from my stash and I've handwritten the sentiment on a scrap of kraft card and used a cocktail stick to attach it to the card.

I've also added two little seedlings, also coloured with Promarkers.

Colour Crazy Challenge Week 41 - Oddball Art

Time for another Colour Crazy Challenge!  The theme as always is

This week we are sponsored by Oddball Art and I've used this wonderful image Smile generously donated to be used by the DT.  I've used Promarkers to colour with watercolour pencils for the background.  I've used an unbranded metal die to cut out the image and I've used Dovecraft 6x6 More or Less papers.

I've made a shaker card and this was a special request card too for a Chelsea Football fan who loves cars!  I've used a Memory Box die for the scene and added some fake snow and seed beads for the shaker bits - both from my stash.

The car charm, ribbon and bakers twine are also from my stash and I've used an X Cut star die plus a swirly little X Cut die too.  I printed the Chelsea emblem a few times and then cut then out.

Morag The Moo

Here is a card made using Morag the Moo image from Dr Digi.  I've coloured her with Promarkers and added to an offcut of card for the base.

The grass has been coloured with Promarkers and I've used a Clearly Besotted die to cut out the shapes.  The sign has been handwritten.
