Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Christmas

The current Polkadoodles challenge is part way through and the theme for the last week is:

Anything Goes or Christmas

I've kept it simple and easy this week - I've made some cute pillow boxes which will contain gift cards for my three nieces this Christmas.  Paper and penguin image are all from Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun and I've added some glitter to the image, silver curling ribbon and a wooden snowflake.

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 1 - Anything Goes

The current Polkadoodle challenge still has a week left to run and its been an extended one due to the festive break.  The theme is Anything Goes.

I've made another gift card wallet this week but used papers from Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun which I printed onto thick card.  Again, no actual template used - just made it up as I went along!

I've recycled a thick kraft envelope as my base and then added papers from the cd plus the sentiment.  Quick and easy!  The 'berries' are doodle dewdrops also available in the store.

Jingle

The Christmas Sentiment sheet from Dr Digi is perfect for when you need to make a gift card holder in a hurry for that awkward male in your family.  Printed papers are Polkadoodles -  Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun cd and the kraft card is a recycled large board envelope.

The sentiment has been printed onto kraft card then cut out with a Sizzix die.  Everything else is from my stash - the twine is also recycled as it came on a gift I was given.

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 33 - Use Something New

Still time to enter the current Polkadoodle challenge - the theme is:

Use Something New

I'm making a start on my Christmas cards early and have made these three cuties for my three nieces.  I've used the gingerbread image from the Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun cd - simply enlarged it without any quality issues and then added thick liquid pearls, a banner and half pearls.

I've handwritten the banners with their names and used bakers twine from my stash.  I think the girls will like them!

I've found (through trial and error!) that the Papermania own brand of liquid pearls (although around half the price of proper liquid pearls) has a large nozzle so not good for detailed and fine work but great for replica icing!

I coloured the bunting with Promarkers to match the red bows on the gingerbreads.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
