Polkadoodle Challenge - Autumn Colours or Anything Goes

It's time for a Polkadoodle Challenge!  The theme is:

Anything Goes

I made a Birthday card for my Mum using papers from the Twiggy and Toots cd and added inks around the edges plus a faux stitched line with a black fineliner pen.  The chocolate satin ribbon is from my stash and I've coloured some cheap chipboard letters with Promarkers after covering them with paper (couldn't colour directly onto the chipboard!)

And to finish I've added some half pearls, again from my stash!  Good luck with the challenge!  For more details and inspiration pop over to the blog!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Polkadoodle Birthday Celebrations - 7 Year Itch (part two)!

Here I am again with my second and final part of the 7th Birthday celebrations going on over at Polkadoodles. I've been part of the Design Team right from the start and the 7 years have totally flown by!

Each Design Team member were asked to create merged / scratched images from existing digis and these were then shared but we didn't know who created what!  I've been sent this image - using Hats off Twiggy and one of the shops from the Dollie Daydream cd.

I've used Promarkers to colour and also watercolour pencils plus added ribbon and half pearls from my stash.

Hope you're enjoying the Birthday celebrations - there is something going on each day!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Cream and Sugar

Time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and the theme for the fortnight is:

Cream and Sugar

I've used an image and papers from Twiggy and Toots - I printed one of the pre-coloured images directly onto some linen effect white card and then cut it out with a fancy Spellbinder die.  I've lightly distressed the edges of the papers and added a handwritten Sizzix cut tag along with half pearls, charm and ribbons from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 44 - Sparkle, Bling or Glitter

We are part way through the current Polkadoodle challenge and the theme is:

Sparkle, Bling or Glitter

I've used papers from Twiggy and Toots cd and made a larger than life 21st Birthday card!  The numbers are from a template I created and I also made the bunting with another simple template.

The card base is a left over strip from making a square card and I've inked the edges plus added glitter glue on the large numbers.  The extra bling is glass beads left over from one of my cousin's wedding from a few years ago.

Good luck with the challenge and whilst you're there have a look at all the other inspiration!

Polkadoodle Challenge Week 41 - Use A Die Cut

It's time for a new Polkadoodle Challenge and the theme is:

Die Cuts

I've made a tee-pee card for a work colleague who will shortly be going on maternity leave and its big enough for all the office to sign.  Papers are from the Twiggy and Toots CD and I've used a Sizzix die for the cute elephant and a Spellbinder frame.

I've inked the edges and used really faded blue, pink and black ink pads to soften the white card for the elephant and frame.  Half pearls from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!
