Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 48 - Crafty Sentiments

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and this week we are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments.  The challenge theme is:

I've used two of the cute images from the sponsor, the first is Benson and Betty which I've coloured with Promarkers.  Snowflakes are a metal unbranded die and the ribbons are from my stash.  I've handwritten the little Sizzix tag.

The second image I've used is Christmas Penguin and I've also coloured him with Promarkers but made it into a slider card.  I've embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder and the sentiments are Tim Holtz Sizzix dies.  And yes, it really does slide!

Simple Snowman

A quick card that I had to make 3 of in team colours (black and white) - I've used Simple Snowman from Dr Digi, coloured it with Promarkers and then added it to the hammered card base with foam pads.

The words are Sizzix Tim Holtz die cuts and the stars are various X Cut dies and I've used silver card from my stash.  The large die cut snowflake is an unbranded metal die.  And to finish, a faux running stitch around the edge of the card with a black fine liner pen.

And for the second week we are sponsored by Polkadoodles!  I've used Winnie Wings, coloured her up with Promarkers plus glitter glue and made a half circle card with papers from the same Winnie White Christmas collection.

I've added dots of liquid pearls around the edges plus a sentiment from the same collection, and the snowflakes are die cuts with pink half pearl centres.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes or Christmas

The DT were challenged to make something Christmas so I've gone for the Winnie White Christmas collection and used one of the pre coloured images.  The colours are really soft and gentle and are also continued in the papers.  I've gone for a distressed look, added one of the sentiments which I layered onto one of the papers using Pic Monkey.

Half pearls, organza and satin ribbons from my stash (and matched the colour ways perfectly!) Snowflake charm and bakers twine also from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 146 - Anything Goes

A quick and easy card for the new Crimbo Crackers challenge, the theme is

Anything Goes

I've used a wooden Christmas tree decoration that I bought a few years ago in the sales, added a Sizzix tag that I've hand written, a bell and then tied it all together with the candy twist string that was attached to the decoration.

I've used a Sizzix embossing folder for the top half, and I found an offcut of spotty paper in my stash so used that for the bottom half.  I cut them with an unbranded die to give the wavy effect.  A faux running stitch with a black fineliner pen around the edges plus some half pearls and the card is complete!

A quick card from me today using Xmas Pud from Dr Digi, coloured with Promarkers plus a little glossy accents added to the berries.  I've used a kraft card blank and added a piece of printed burlap from a 6x6 pad from The Works which I've layered on to a random piece of pale gold card I found in my stash that has been recycled from some packaging.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 145 - Anything Goes

Time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is nice and easy:

I've used a kraft card blank and then with offcuts I've added a Marianne Creatables snowflake die cut and Sizzix thinlits.  The mitten is my own template and I've used papers I found in my stash plus the off cuts made the bow..  I've hand cut the holly and the berries are embellishments from a posh set of crackers from a few years ago.

The bell I bought as a set from ebay and the little lego man was personal to the recipient!  A bit of light inking and faux stitches with a black fine liner pen and the card is complete!

The DT were challenged to make a Christmas project that was mainly white but with a hint of colour.  I've used Holly Sparkles Christmas Unicorn from the Winnie White collection.  Coloured with Promarkers plus some die cut snowflakes, lots of sparkle and organza ribbons; cute!
