Rock n Roller

There is not much nothing more satisfying than painting a wall with a paint roller and getting that job done in a flash.  Unless you need more than one coat of emulsion to cover the dated chipboard.....

Paint Roller is in the Dr Digi Cheapies section - bargain!  Coloured with Promarkers, I've layered it all with a Spellbinder die and I've made the rolls of wallpaper from leftover scraps.  Bakers twine and bunch of keys charm all from my stash.

CRAFT Challenge - May Guest Designer - Sketch

I was lucky enough a while ago to win a CRAFT challenge and part of the prize was to join the team as a Guest Designer for May, so here is my first challenge with them!

It's a sketch to follow and for full details pop over to the CRAFT challenge blog.

The sponsor I was assigned for the challenge was Sunflowerfields and the image I've used is called Strawberry Muffin.  I've coloured it with Promarkers and found a perfect offcut of patterned paper in my stash.  Everything else is also from my stash.

I hope you can join in with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Blue For Boys - Mum

Another set of great papers from the V Funky cd!  I've used the Blue For Boys collection - and printed two sheets A5 size (the top and bottom bands are snipped in half) and then used two of the ATC sheets.

I originally printed the Mum tile direct from the cd and then printed it for a second time via the 'open' option on the cd rather than the 'run' option.  I didn't realise until I was about to layer then up that the second print was slightly smaller than the first.  However, it looks fine!  Everything else is from my stash.

Watch out for more goodness from V Funky this month!

We Will Miss Ewe!

Flossy is always good to use for a farewell or a good luck card. Maybe its because I enjoy the play on words!  Plus its one of my Dr Digi favourites!

Coloured with Promarkers, the sign is handwritten and I've used a Memory Box die for the clouds and the picket fence is from my stash (bought a pile of the die cuts from ebay many moons ago!)  The grass is a Sizzix die cut.

Flowers

Sometimes I'm glad I have images coloured up and ready to use!  And this one from From The Heart Stamps - Mixed Bouquet - was perfect.  I've coloured the image with Promarkers and the sentiment came with the digi and I've added some half pearls to some of the flower centres.

I've used some plain card from my stash to layer the image and also sentiment plus some ribbon also from my stash to finish of the From The Heart Stamps sketch.

A Little Bit Of....

... Funky Daze to brighten your day!  I've made a cute basket with papers from the Funky Daze collection from Funky Hand plus a little bunting.  Perfect for a Mum to Be Gift!

Really easy to make and the papers were perfect!  Not sure if the baby will be a girl but I liked it to be bright so it was a bit pink themed!  The box is one of my own templates (I made it up as I went along) and I made the bunting template as well.  BBQ sticks from the kitchen (I buy them from the pound shop!) plus hot pink ribbon from my stash.

The scalloped bottom edge is a Martha Stewart punch, a little bit of inking and its complete!

Just A Wee Little Note

Rather enjoyed colouring up this cute image - Hamlet PigWit Being Shy which is a From The Heart Stamps progressive challenge image for April.  I've used Promarkers to colour and the sentiment comes with the stamp.

I've been trying to use up the scrap pieces of card from making square cards so this was perfect after I layered the image onto a fancy Spellbinders die cut.  A cut flower charm tied on with pink embroidery thread.

Bright Chick

A rather quick and bright card for the From The Heart Stamps sketch this week. Not the original image I was planning on using but this image - Birthday Suit Birdbrain went much better with the sketch plus I was able to use up some off-cuts of Echo Park - Summerdays papers.

I had to join up the purple base hence the patterned strips to hide it!

And a few pearls from my stash.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 79 - Stockings

Time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is:

Stockings

I've used papers from Funky Hand - Santa Baby download and used my own template.  There is a lot of glittering and I've used Sizzix and Marianne Creatable dies.

The bling is a Christmas garland which I picked up in the January sales for not much, and I got a lot of it!

Good luck with the challenge - pop over to the blog for more details.
