I Love Promarkers - Challenge 420 - Dr Digi

It's Wednesday so time for a new I ❤ Promarkers challenge!  The theme this fortnight is

Clean and Simple

And we are sponsored by Dr Digi and I've used the very clean and simple Lightbulb digi which is also a freebie!  Coloured with Promarkers plus a bit of glossy accents on the highlight.

Made to send to a friend who celebrated getting a first in her degree!!  Handwritten sentiment and doodled border.  Good luck with the challenge!

Seal of Approval

Sometimes I just cannot resist a pun - this card was for an electricians 60th birthday, hence the lightbulb digi (a freebie!)  Simon the Seal is also available from Dr Digi and all images have been coloured with Promarkers.  Papers again, I found languishing in my stash and again I have a feeling they are from a very early Funky Hand cd that sadly are no longer available.

Die cut letters and a little X Cut die for the rosette.

100 Watt Birthday

This is a quick and easy card made using Lightbulb from Dr Digi and it's a freebie too so what's not to like?!

I've coloured it with Promarkers plus added glossy accents to the highlight area and then cut the border with a bit of a rubbish die as it didn't cut properly but I decided I liked it like that!

Papers are from my stash along with the brads and the sentiment I printed on my computer.  I'd like to enter the following:

Dad's 70th - T is for

This is the next to last page of the 70th Birthday card I made my Dad earlier this year.  This one is the letter T from the word sevenTy and features Professor Wiggingson and Lightbulb.  Both have been coloured with promarkers and I've used papers that I found in my stash (and had far too long) for the background.

The large letter T is a chipboard letter, coloured with a black marker and the other letters have been cut using my Sizzix Round-A-Bout alphabet set.

Final week next week - the letter Y!  I'd like to enter the following:

Angie's Digital Stamps:  Anything Goes

To Brighten Your Day

If you're looking for something cheap, cheerful and to brighten what can only be described as a gloomy day, then look no further than the lightbulb from Dr Digi - its a freebie in the store!

I've coloured the images with Promarkers and added glossy accents to the highlight.  Die cuts are Nestabilities and I've handwritten the sentiment.

Some faux stitching around the edges and it's complete!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Repeat Impressions:  Sketch followed
Cardz For Guys:  Clean and Simple
Die Cuttin' Divas:  Birthday

Light Bulb

The lightbulb digi is great for when you're in a hurry.  Or have a good idea for a quick card.  Plus its currently a freebie in the Dr Digi store - so no excuse not to use a number of puns!

I've shaded the image with a black fineliner pen - the one in the store is just an outline.  Charms, cord and half pearls all from my stash.  The oval has been cut using an X Cut die.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Cardz 4 Guz:  No Designer Paper
Creative Card Crew:  Die Cuts
Card Mania:  Anything Goes

You Brighten My Day!

None of these new fangled energy saving whatsits here - just a good old fashioned light bulb to brighten your day!

Well, if no-one is going to say it, I will - you brighten my day. And the good Dr Digi himself has drawn this fab light bulb so you can brighten someones day too. And you'll be brightening your own too as the digi is FREE!!

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and then used some ransom letters to spell out the greeting (and had to be creative with no h and t left!)
