Vintage Tree

I'd been sent a wonderful digital scrapbooking kit by Alison Sloan called Comfort and Joy and was asked if I could make a few physical cards. So I did and here is one of them! All the papers are from the kit and I've drawn inspiration from Jo Kill to make the tree.

The papers have a lovely vintage feel to them (there are lots of elements too included with the kit but I've not used any here) so it fits the Charisma Cardz challenge which asks for

Vintage

I've added a bit of inking here and there around the edges and the scallops have been made with a heart punch so quite easy to make!

The papers are wonderful so expect more of them!

World's Best Teacher

A rather quick card (and poor lighting = kitchen) for the current Daring Cardmakers challenge which is:

School Days

Pretty much inspired by the fab Jo Kill and an old crafting magazine which showed some school related toppers. So you could say a fairly blatant copy!

The topper is on a sheet of notepaper that has been chalked, the globe is a die cut (Quickutz) from my stash, along with the star (table confetti I think!) and the brads too.

The lettering is cut using my Cuttlebug Baby Face alphabet set and the gold dots are 3d gold paint.

Simples!
