Simples (With Green)

I had a good day yesterday of creativity despite being interrupted every few seconds by the boys. Even the littlest room in the house was not sacred!

So here is one I made yesterday. Another Wedding Acceptance card (look away now Claire - my Mum's not got it yet let alone posted it to you!!) for my cousin who gets married at the end of March. Continuing with the green theme too although I don't think the Wedding is green themed just I like this ribbon and beads!

Anyway. Kept it rather simple and did not add a sentiment. Don't have an Acceptance stamp and couldn't be bothered firing up the pc to print one. Honest. But true!

I've used D'vine Swirls embossing folder, a Sizzix layered flower die that has partly been embossed with Swiss Dots and the scalloped edge are heart punches. I've used some green organza ribbon that I bought recently (can't remember where) and some oddments of green themed beads that were another donation from Lynsey (thank you - and yes, I sifted through all the bag for these!)

Oh and a bit of inking around the edges with a badly matching green inkpad. Oh well!

More Wedding Stuff!

Although, yes, this is more Wedding stuff, it isn't really! This is an Evening Acceptance card for this Wedding, and as their colours fit in with this weeks Pink Elephant challenge, I thought, why not!

The challenge this week is:

Pink, Brown and White

And here it is - very simple but it does the job! The stamp is a little acrylic Studio G one which I have stamped with chestnut Whispers and added some pink and white glitter glue to some of the cakes layers. I have actually used the pink and chocolate brown card that I used to make the invitations - the ribbon too.

So it fits in nicely with the Wedding stationery! Sorry about the wonky photos - don't know what went wrong there!

Pink Marshmallows and Chocolate Brown

The Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week is:

Marshmallows and Chocolate

Or at least the colours! I've had, for a while, on my list of things to do, to make an acceptance card for a Wedding we have been invited to (its Hayley's - I made her invitations and here is her forthcoming birthday card!) And as the challenge is in keeping with her colour scheme, I made this card.

The cake is a die cut from pearlescent creamy white card (had it in my stash for a long time!) and I've added pink and silver seed beads to the layers. Behind it is a piece of pink vellum and I've added a chocolate brown ribbon underneath.

Must remember to post it off to her now!
