Nessie

A quick card to share today using Nessie from Dr Digi.  I've coloured her up with watercolour pencils and added an embossed background with a Cuttlebug folder, using an off-cut of the same card I've used for the base.

The buttons and embroidery thread are from my stash along with the little dino charm.

4 Nessie

Nessie from Dr Digi has just popped past to wish a Happy 4th Birthday!  Just perfect for a little boys' Birthday!  Coloured with Promarkers and added to a large shaped number 4 covered with Hairy and Scary download papers from Funky Hand (retired).

Some card candy I found lurking in my stash plus sentiment has been cut with two Clearly Besotted dies from silver card.

Nessie

You're never to young to have Nessie wish you a Happy Birthday!!  And on a dinosaur egg shaped wobbler card too!  Coloured with Promarkers and the card base has been cut with an oval X Cut die with the fold bit hidden behind the body.  The number 3 is a Sizzix die which I've liberally glittered and then stamped the sentiment with a Studio G alphabet set.

A Wanderin' In The Grass

Poor Nessie is a little lost, although she seems to be enjoying the freedom to kick her heels in the long grass on the banks of Magnetic Island on the other side of the world in Australia.

And who said she was camera shy?! I've coloured Nessie with Promarkers then added her to a card blank which has been covered with a random bit of card I found in my stash. And that's it!

And here is my take on the sketch! I've made it well in advance for a Birthday for later in the year and he will be 9. I've used Nessie and coloured her with Promarkers and used papers from Cosmo Cricket - Early Bird digital paper pack. The large blue star was sent to me by Jenny (thank you!) and I've punched some smaller stars and made my own larger one with a handwritten sentiment.
