Daring Card Makers Challenge - Big Celebrations

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Big Celebrations

I've used some skinny letter die cuts and first cut the words from the midnight blue pearl card and then cut them again from off-cuts of silver glitter card (bought from the poundshop!) and then they fitted perfectly inside as I didn't want a raised feel to it.

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 21 - Polkadoodles

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

This week we are sponsored by Polkadoodles and I've used the lovely Holly Cake digi, coloured with Promarkers.  I've gone for a shabby chic feel and used oddments of printed papers that I've had in my stash for ages.  The banner has been cut from kraft card and then layered vellum over the top.  I handwrote the sentiment and the rhinestone numbers are from The Works.

I Love Promarkers - Challenge 411 - Paper Nest Dolls

It's Wednesday so time for a new I ❤ Promarkers challenge!  The theme this fortnight is

Circles

And we are sponsored by the Paper Nest Dolls and I've used Elephant With Butterfly and coloured with Promarkers.  I've printed the sentiment on my computer and used another circle die to cut it out and also the sparkly foam number 5 (set of lots of stickers from the poundshop!)

The paper is Dovecraft - Back to Basics 3 and the ribbon, half pearls, bakers twine and charm are all from my stash (the charm is actually from a charm bracelet, again from the poundshop!)

Mum 70 - Part 3

Here is the third page for my Mum's Birthday card and I've used Katie the Cat Lady from Dr Digi, coloured her with Promarkers and added glossy accents to her specs.

I cut the number 70 from card and then covered with some really ancient papers from my stash - Papermania - Retro Floral 12x12 papers which I've pieced together so I can use as much as I can.  Edges dotted with liquid pearls.  The smaller letter E is also covered with papers from the same collection.  I've handwritten the vellum tag and created a bow with some paper ribbon.

I've used an image no longer available - From The Heart Stamps, coloured up with Promarkers plus I found some really old Funky Hand papers in my stash that were oddments from previous projects that I've used for the background - had to add the circles to hide all the joins and gaps!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 20 - Conie Fong

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

This week we are sponsored by Conie Fong and I've used Bunny Hearts Girl, coloured with Promarkers.  After colouring the balloons, I covered them with glossy accents and sprinkled lots of fine glitter over the top.  I've also dotted liquid pearls around the edge of the image and the card blank.  I printed the sentiment myself.

Heart die cuts are left over from another project (I don't like to throw anything away!) and the bakers twine and heart and stone charm are from my stash.

Polkadoodles Challenge - Thank You

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

The DT were challenged to make a thank you card and to use at least 2 images, so I've kept my card clean and simple and merged two images from the Winnie Heroes collection to create my card.  Coloured with Promarkers plus a stethescope charm from my stash and embroidery thread.  The sentiment is from the collection too.

I've used an image from Jellypark which is no longer available, and I coloured it with Promarkers.  The papers are all Dovecraft - Back To Basics 2 and all were oddments I had from previous projects.

I've added a die cut banner from some lilac card, half pearls and printed the sentiment on my computer.

Mum 70 - Part 1

My Mum turned 70 towards the end of last year and I made her a rather unique card.  This is the front cover and I've used Coffee Table (removed the daffs), Prezzie and Rubber Duckie all from Dr Digi and coloured with Promarkers.

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Inky Backgrounds

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

I've used some spray inks and created the background then added die cut letters using some scraps of pearlescent cream card and then a star with half pearl to finish.  Really quick and simple but I do like the look of it!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Movable Card

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

The DT were challenged to make a card that moves.  So I kept it nice and simple and printed two of the images from Winnie's Hero's and coloured them up with Promarkers.  I made a wobble head image using some sturdy wire and glossy accents to stick it all together!

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 210 - Die Cuts

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme is

Die Cuts

I've used a Polkadoodles die - Fancy Intricate Die and I've cut two, one from white glitter card and the other from green glitter card and then used the negative parts to make up a full image.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp which is no longer available from Polkadoodles.

I've then used silver ribbon as a loop at the top of the bauble and some white and silver twine from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!

Daring Cardmakers Challenge - May Elemental Inspiration

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week because it is the first Friday of the month is

And I've used the following elements - you need to use at least 3 and colour counts as one - the lettering, yellow shoes, yellow, celebration and the bow.  The letters are all different die cuts except the number which is a wooden shape - all the die cuts were coloured with a Promarker and then they and the number were glittered with glossy accents and then fine glitter sprinkled over the top.

The image is from Tiddly Inks and I've coloured her with Promarkers plus added glitter glue to the candles and her party hat.  Ribbon from my stash
