Shabby Chic

Bit of a shabby chic card here using some wonderful Stampin' Unicorn products!  Both papers are taken from the Butterfly Dreams 6x6 paper pad (the paper is really good quality and nice and sturdy which makes it great to rough up!)  The sentiment is from the Bits and Pieces Ephemera 6x6 paper pack (again, I've lightly distressed the edges).

The flowers are beautiful and I've curled some thin strips of the paper which were left over after trimming - flowers and half pearls from the Heavenly Dreams Embellishment pack.

I'd like to enter the following:

  1. I love the way you've curved the flowers and given them dimension. But it's the curled pieces of waste paper cuts that really caught my attention. What a brilliant use for those scraps and what a lovely difference they've made to the flowers. I love their wispy presence. Great colours. Love the distressed edges. All in all, a gorgeous birthday card. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  3. Great job on your Shabby Chic card. I really like the scalloped edges on the three sides of the card base, and the torn DSP layers. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Watercooler Wednesday "Occasions" challenge.
