Polkadoodle Challenge 33 - Vintage & Stamping

Welcome to another Polkadoodle challenge! This week the challenge is being set by Fliss, who, if you are a regular visitor to her blog, that she loves vintage! So that is her theme for the week:

Vintage

I've used two of the new Stamp Doodles - the shabby prim angel in a stocking and the bow with holly, both coloured with Promarkers and a titchy bit of glitter glue.

I've used papers from Not For Girls cd - printed them small (4 onto a sheet of A4) so that the grain pattern would not be lost, a bit of doodling around the edges and some buttons and the card is complete!

Hope you can join us this week - the deadline for entries (please only enter your Polkadoodle creation into a maximum of 10 challenges including Polkadoodle) is Sunday 29 August at 12noon GMT. Good luck!

Bunting for a Boy

Sometimes when I see a sketch I just know what I'm going to make! This is the current Sketch Saturday challenge:

And I've used one of the brand new rubber stamps that Nikky from Polkadoodles will be launching at the weekend at the Summer Crafting event at Doncaster. Isn't the elephant a cutie?! I've coloured him with Promarkers and used a sentiment stamp from Studio G.

All the papers are from Polkadoodles too - All Around and Everywhere - I cut strips and turned them into mini bunting by drawing the links with a black fineliner pen.

Watch out for more of this stamp in the future as I really love it! And so easy to colour too!!

Watch The Birdie!

Nikky from Polkadoodles is launching a set of exclusive rubber stamps at the Summer Crafting event at Doncaster over the weekend and I've had chance to play with a few of them, one being this cutie owl stamp!

It fits nicely with the Charisma Cardz challenge which is:

Watch The Birdie

I've coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and added some glitter glue on the hats.

The shaped tree is from the brand new Polkadoodles cd Paper Boutique vol 2 and I thought it went really well with the stamp. I printed the tree onto hammered 240gsm cream card and then simply cut it out and added a reverse shape to the back.

Wonderful rubber stamps and great cd too!
