Daring Card Makers - So Many Candles

It's time for a new Daring Card Makers challenge and the theme for the week is

So Many Candles

I've used Cake and Candles from Dr Digi and coloured it up with Promarkers and layered it onto the embossed panel with foam pads so its got more depth.

The embossed panel has been layered onto chocolate brown and red card - I actually used off cut strips to do the layering so its not a solid piece underneath!  Good luck with the challenge!

Nigel's 30th - Part 1

Here is another multi-page card that I made last year for a work colleague to give to her son on his 30th Birthday.  The papers are all from a big bundle I bought quite some time ago on the one occasion I ventured into Costco.  They are all double sided 12x12 sheets and some are a bit grungy and I thought they would be perfect for this card!

I've used one of my own templates for the numbers and cut the stars from offcuts of card from my stash using an X Cut die.  I've hand written the sentiment.

The two digis are from Dr Digi - Cake and Candles and Prezzie; both coloured with Promarkers.  The letters are acrylic stamps from Calico Studio and I've gone over the top with glossy accents for a bit more dimension.

Birthday Cake

A nice quick and clean card made for a work colleagues recent birthday - I've used Cake and Candles from Dr Digi and coloured it up with Promarkers.

I scored a border around the edge and added some card candy from my stash.  I'd like to enter the following:

Cake and Candles

Does what it says on the tin despite looking like an unstable structure!  Cake and Candles from Dr Digi - the only way to celebrate a Birthday!  And at just £1 it leaves enough to buy some real cake!

Coloured with Promarkers, glitter glue and liquid pearls, I've added the image with foam pads for depth and then added to a star shaped card.  Papers and sentiment are Funky Hand - Happy Happy Birthday cd which is no longer available.

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 6 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4^th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.  So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?
