Quick Hello

Just a quick card I made last night with a fab Time For Tea digi called Hi There that I've coloured with Promarkers.  The image has been added to the card with foam pads so she stands out a little.

Papers are from my stash - the heart background is from The Clip Art Fairy and the strips are Funky Hand.  I actually didn't have enough of the background paper to cover the card blank in one go so the join is hidden behind the embroidery thread!

I've handwritten the slightly wonky sentiment and then added some half pearls and embroidery thread from my stash.  A bit of faux stitching around the edges and the card is complete!

Told you it didn't take long to make!  Jacob's football match was an exciting one this morning - they were leading 5-2 at half time and Jacob saved loads of potential goals and some really quite difficult ones when he had to dive on the floor (he has scraped both knees and elbow! And that is wearing a padded goalie kit!)  They still managed to loose 8-7 in the end but Jacob almost got 2 goals from the long kicks he made from his goal line!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

House of Gilli:  Anything Goes plus Pastels

  1. Thanks for joining in this week at SNS Digi Challenge with this absolutely girlie card! You have done a great job on colouring your image, and the papers and embellies really set it off. Had a laugh at your invisible join - doesn't it make you feel great when you can pull off a sneaky seam and no-one knows - except that you then tell us! A true crafter!
