I Love Promarkers - Challenge 372 - Star Stampz

We have a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers and we are sponsored by Star Stampz.  The theme is

3 Layers

I've used this cute Kimono Portrait digi which I've coloured with Promarkers and added a little glitter glue to the flowers.  The papers were a gift from a friend quite a few years ago and they are all Basic Grey

I've handwritten the tag after colouring it with Promarkers to match the colour of the flowers on her kimono; ribbon is from my stash.

Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

Colour Crazy Challenge Week 34 - Star Stampz

Time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge!  The theme, as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by Star Stampz who gave the DT some images to work with.  I've used Kimono Portrait and coloured her with Promarkers.  And for once, I picked my papers before colouring the image as I found it way easier to do it that way instead of colouring and then trying to match papers!

I've used a sheet of chocolate brown card as the base and the papers are Basic Grey Sultry - these were part of a RAK I was sent a few years ago (I've just looked at them periodically ever since!)  I've distressed the edges with a pair of scissors.

I've added half pearls from my stash and some raffia twine I found hiding.  Good luck with the challenge!

Pretty In Pink

The Penny Black challenge this week is a lovely one! It is:

Pretty In Pink

I've used a cute hedgehog and daisy image which I've coloured mainly with Aquamarkers - the sky is coloured with watercolours and the deck chair Promarkers. The daisy was supposed to be more of a delicate pink however I think my Aquamarker collection needs expanding a little!

The paper is Basic Grey Sultry 6x6 and I've simply added a rather large and extravagant hot pink satin ribbon and bow! Also four little half pearls to the top right of the card. The image has been layered onto some pink card from my stash which I've rounded the edges, inked and then dotted a fine line around the edge of the actual image to keep it from 'falling out' so to speak!

  • Image: Penny Black, coloured with Aquamarkers, Promarkers and watercolours
  • Paper: Basic Gray Sultry 6x6
  • Everything else: My stash

Spring Is In The Air!

The Cupcake Card challenge this week is:

Spring

And I've just about made this one in time! My original plan went very very wrong so was scrapped (it really was that bad and a big disaster!) so plan B. The backing paper is Basic Grey Sultry (generously donated in a mini stash swop by Jozza) and the bits I've not used I've kept. A little bit of it has been stuck under a round clear dome sticker to make the centre of the flower as the titchy maroon brad looked a little lost!

The maroon backing card is from my stash so too is the ribbon (which was 10p for around 4 metres from Blackburn market). And the layered flower are two Prima's and were free from a website in the USA.

Although you can't really see it, I've inked the edges with my fading black ink pad.

Inspired by the cherry blossom trees near where I work which will be coming into flower in the next couple of weeks.

  • Backing papers: Maroon card stock from my stash, patterned paper Basic Grey Sultry (from Jozza)
  • Flower: Prima freebies
  • Ribbon: From my stash (Blackburn market originally)
