Jellypark Challenge - Pastels

Time for a new Jellypark challenge and the theme for the fortnight is Pastels. And I've made these cute three cards with equally cute images - Giraffe, Dancing Bunny Rabbit, and Rose Bunny.

All have been coloured with Promarkers and half pearls along with a dotted line of liquid pearls around the edges. The scalloped edges are made with a heart punch with the pointy bit tucked under the reverse. Good luck with the challenge and be sure to watch out for the new releases!

I'd like to enter the following challenge:

Penny's Paper Crafty: Anything Goes
Going Grey With Scrap Creations: Pastels
Tip Top Tuesday: I've used 7 pearls on each card - tip is to use a heart punch for scallops

Jellypark Challenge - Anything But a Card

I must have a bit of a thing for making boxes at the moment as here is the second blog post and second box for the day!  The new Jellypark Challenge is:

ABC - Anything But a Card

And I've made this gift box from my own measurements (it was missing a side at one point!) as I'm making a set of new baby cards to add to it for a friend who is due in the next month.

I've used the fab Toy Giraffe digi stamp (only £1.25!) and coloured it with Promarkers.  I used one of my new Nesties to cut the shape (and I love it!) and some yellow organza ribbon that I bought from Lidl ages ago.

I made the box so that the front of it was where it opened so one side is slightly larger than the other to enable this.  The cards inside are dinky and have the same image.

Cute Giraffes!

And here is the second of two new release digi stamps from Jellypark! The one that I have used here is called Toy Giraffe.

I've printed them directly onto the linen effect white cardstock (The Papermill) and then used a onsie template (can't remember where I found it, sorry!) to make sure the image was in the right place.  I usually print a test onto a sheet of ordinary paper as I hate to waste good card!

The little giraffes have been coloured with Promarkers plus stickles and I've added heart punches for frills because this way I could make them fit the shapes.

I've added a faux running stitch around the edges with a gel pen and added some half pearls for buttons - real buttons were too big and chunky for my liking!

One of my cousins is due to have a baby very soon and another cousin and his wife are due their second in May.  So I'm trying to get ahead here - knowing my luck I'll need two of one colour!!
