Jellypark Stamp Spotlight - Girl Dressing Up

Every other week, between challenges the Jellypark Design team are spotlighting a particular stamp from the Jellypark store, and this week it is the turn of Girl Dressing Up.

I've coloured her with Promarkers  and used some papers from my stash - I had to use them cunningly as I didn't have anything big enough!  I've added a pink organza ribbon with Cadbury purple ribbon for extra girliness!
Liquid pearls have been dotted around the edge of the panels to soften the edges a little.  Hope you like the stamp - go and have a look in the store - all digi's are only £1.25 each!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Get Well Soon!

Now this is the card I should have blogged over two weeks ago!  I don't know if it is the new blogger layout that is confusing me ever so slightly because I can't really see things as easily (I draft all my posts as I've made my DT commitments so that I know I've done it and the photo is there, and then once I've written the post I schedule it.....) but anyway, here it is, only a smidgin late!

And for some reason my card looks out of focus - its not - the photo is perfectly ok but blogger is being a bit of a pest!

Isn't this a cute image?  It's from Jellypark and I've coloured her with Promarkers.  The sentiment comes with the image and I've used one of my Nesties for the oval - no more wonky ovals for me now I have these dies!!

I've added a faux stitch around the edge of the papers and also the image and I've actually used a bandage across the centre!  Papers are from Funky Hand (retired) and I've used my fab X Cut star die.

So there you have it.  It's also rather late for me - I can't sleep tonight - its something that is quite rare as I do like my sleep so I thought I'd use my time wisely without child or husband interruptions!  Therefore, if something in this post does not make sense, its cos its early hours!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Creative Craft Challenges:  Red, White and Blue
Passion for Promarkers:  Red, White and Blue
Craft Your Days Away:  Red, White and Blue

Jellypark Challenge 17 - A Night At The Oscars

A new challenge has launched over at Jellypark and the theme this fortnight is:

A Night At The Oscars

Now I went literally with my choice and did the dressing up element but there are some great film titles replicated by some of the Design Team - pop over and have a look!

I've used the Dressing Up digi stamp and coloured it with Promarkers plus a little liquid pearls on her, well, pearls!

The papers and sentiment are from the Shabby Saturday download from Funky Hand and the flowers are too - I printed them as A4 and A5 sized so I could layer them up. Centres are gems from my stash. I've used a Nestie as a template to draw around as I didn't have anything the right size.

Good luck with the challenge!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Crop Stop: Is It Blooming Outside?
Delightful Challenges: Use Patterned Paper
Paper Play: For A Mother
The Paper Shelter: Add a Sentiment
Cutie Pie Challenge: Flower Power

Dressing Up

Here is the first of the two new digi stamp releases this fortnight from Jellypark. This one is called Dressing Up and I think it is such a wonderful image! I've coloured her with Promarkers and added just a little bit of cerise glitter glue to her necklace.

The papers are a recent win from Cupcake Craft Room (a lovely surprise!) and they fitted perfectly with the colours I had in mind! I've cut out a few of the flowers (printed at A5 size) and slightly curled the petals before layering.

I've used some embroidery thread I picked up from a rather quick visit to the Scrap Store - embroidery thread will be the new bakers twine - you heard it here first! The sentiment is computer generated, plus some doodling and the card is complete!

The second new release will be blogged over the weekend - got a busy weekend ahead so just bear with me!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Cupcake Craft Room: Pink and Green
Sunday Sketch and Stamp: Sketch followed
Stamp and Doodle: Anything Goes
Kelley Kid's Challenge: Girly Girl
For Fun Challenges: Kids at Play
  • Papers: Cupcake Craft Room
