Jellypark Challenge - Winter Animals

Welcome to another Jellypark challenge! The theme this fortnight is:

Winter Animals

I've used the cute Five Christmas Robins digi stamp (only £1.25!) and coloured it with Aquamarkers and stickles (you just can't see the bling in the terrible photo!)  The sentiment is part of the image too so it made sense to keep it all nice and simple!  And to be honest, when I made this I think I was on Christmas card overload!

The papers are from The Clip Art Fairy - Beautiful Baby Boy papers and and I've glittered around the edge of the image and also the papers too.

There are two new digi releases this fortnight from Jellypark and as you know, I'll be sharing them over the weekend, but if you can't wait, just pop over to the Jellypark challenge blog and you'll see them on there!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

ABC Christmas:  A for Animal
Christmas at Sweet Stampin':  Cold and Frosty
Just For Fun:  Birds
Fab n Funky:  Winter
Sisterhoood of Crafters:  Cold and Winter

Nephew

I've been busy making baby cards recently - one of my cousins was due (and arrived early!) but we didn't know if it was to be a boy or girl so I made a variety of each and some in lemon and cream too!  And a good friend was about to become an Aunty to a little boy (and he arrived early too!) so here is the card I made from her:

And yes, its a wordbook!  I've used papers from The Clip Art Fairy - Beautiful Baby Boy papers but the Printables Store has closed so I don't know if the papers are still available.  I've made the letters in word and then cut them out, layered onto some plain paper from the download and then layered again onto the 'pages'.  I've glittered around each letter - I actually print the letters in a colour similar to the papers so its not too visible, but enough so I can see where I'm cutting!

I've added some ribbon, embroidery thread and a little silver charm from my stash.  Some of the stars on the letters (the darker ones) have had glossy accents applied over the top to give it a bit more texture.

Jacob's football team lost again this morning - 8-4 despite leading at the start 2-0.  He was in goal for the whole match and made some cracking saves (despite letting 8 in!  Although one was an own goal from one of our mid-fielders) and was named Man of the Match by our Coach!

Samuel has the final Inkart Round tomorrow morning at Daytona Manchester.  He's currently in second place in the Cadet Championship and hopefully a decent finish tomorrow will ensure that placing.  It's all go in our house!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Ladybug Crafts:  Monochrome
Daring Cardmakers:  Twinkle Twinkle
Fussy and Fancy:  Feeling Blue
Dutch Dare:  Fancy Folds
Little Red Wagon:  Boy oh Boy

Papers:  The Clip Art Fairy (think they are retired)
Letters:  Wordart

New Baby

Here is the first of two new release digi stamps from Jellypark - New Baby With Teddy and I've made it into a him!  All coloured with Promarkers with dabs of stickles on the blanket stars, and I've cut out the image and layered it onto a Sizzix tag with foam pads.  The sentiment also comes with the image and that too has been cut out and added with foam pads.

The papers are from The Clip Art Fairy - Beautiful Baby Boy papers (12 papers for £1!) and I really do like this particular one with the cute little stars!  Ribbons, charm, embroidery thread and half pearls all from my stash.

Last night whilst driving back from my parents, the boys were having a discussion in the car.  During the 30 minute drive, topics covered were Manchester United being currently top of the football league ("I made the right choice of team", said Jacob smugly!) to reincarnation (or reborning as they called it) and if it happened and would they know who they would come back as.   I blame the parents.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Alphabet Challenge:  T for Tags
Card Crafters Circle:  Patterned Paper
Raise The Bar:  Anything Goes
My Heart Pieces:  Beautiful Ribbon
Alota Rubber Stamps:  Blue and White
Ladybug Crafts:  Monochrome / Tonal

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 33 - Midway Extra

It's time for the Midway Extra part to the current Fetch A Sketch challenge.  And as a reminder here is the current sketch:
You can make anything you like for the challenge as long as the sketch is followed - plus you can twist it, flip it - but we do need to see the sketch in your creation!

I've used papers from The Clip Art Fairy - Beautiful Baby Boy papers plus added some stickles around the edges and on the corners of the X Cut stars too.  I've used a circle Nestie for the image shape and the cute snowman is from Jellypark which was a past freebie so I'm not sure if it is still available.

I've coloured the snowman with Promarkers and added some silver snowflake confetti to finish off the sketch.

Hope you can join us - for more details, pop over to Fetch A Sketch!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
