This Is How I Learnt To Type!

Here we go, late as usual with the first of the two new release digi stamps from Jellypark:

This one is called (appropriately enough!) typewriter.  And I've coloured it with Promarkers and some liquid pearls.  It reminds me so much of the totally ancient and weighing a tonne typewriter that I learnt to type on at school.  No, I'm not that old, just the equipment was and it was in the early days of word processors.  Yeah, I probably am showing my age now!

Papers are from Echo Park - Be Mine digital paper pack and I've added some very fine sparkly thread and half pearls from my stash.  As you can see I'm trying to be very good and use up scraps!

We've had a rather exciting weekend - Jacob set his fastest lap time yesterday in the Formula Bambino round and came 4th overall - not yet on the podium but he's close!  And then today, Samuel knocked a very impressive 0.5 seconds off his fastest lap time which actually broke the track record or it would have done if it had not been broken just a few minutes earlier by another driver!  Samuel is actually the second quickest driver on the track beating other Cadets, Juniors and adults - not bad for a nearly 9 year old!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

One Stitch At A Time:  Anything Goes
Challenge Up Your Life:  Anything Goes
Crafty Catz:  Anything Goes
Art Impressions Stamps:  Any Sentiment
In The Pink:  50 Shades of Pink
  • Image:  Jellypark, coloured with Promarkers and liquid pearls
  • Papers:  Echo Park, Be Mine
  • Dies:  Spellbinder Nestabilities
  • Everything else:  My stash

  1. Hello there fellow Pink lover. Isn't it fabulous about the launch of In the Pink? I stopped in for a closer look at your card. I'm linked at #1 this week, I'd love it if you stopped by to say hello.

LOL I had a giggle when I read your post, I learnt to type on an electric typewriter at school, they were the new beaut thing for secretaries, you still had to use carbon and ewww that was messy! Your card is fabulous.

    Cheers,
    Kasey ~ in Oz
