So, What Did You Do At School Today...?

"Nothing". Or "Played with the bricks", is usually the response when we ask Samuel how his day has been at school and what has he done.

So, imagine my surprise when he piped up last weekend that he's 'done' knitting at school. Not only knitting, but sewing (stitching) as well.

It all came about when my Mum showed Samuel and Jacob the hats she is knitting for them. Jacob put his on and pretended to be a monster. And Samuel decided to tell us that he has learnt to knit at school and can he do some now?

So, my Mum found some chunky needles and some wool, started a row off for him and away he went!

He's knitting a scarf for his giraffe so it needs to be long and different colours. So watch this space for the final article!!
