Time For A Soak

Now I like nothing better than an uninterrupted soak in the bath. Of course, that very rarely happens...... Deirdery, from Dr Digi, on the other hand has it down to a fine art!

Deirdery as been coloured with Promarkers then added to the background - papers from my stash and I've made the floor boards and skirting board myself - with foam pads so she stands proud a little.  Letters have been cut with a Cuttlebug alphabet set.

I'd like to enter the following:

First Day At School - Ethan

Here is the third of four cards I've made for friends kids who are starting school this September - this one is for Ethan.  I've used a Jellypark image, coloured with Promarkers and added with foam pads for depth.  The sentiment is also Jellypark - both no longer available.

Papers are A to Z by Samantha Walker - I've been creative with the borders as I'm using a lot of left overs!  Charms are from my stash along with the embroidery thread.  And to finish, I've added a running stitch with a black fine liner pen around the edge of the card and also the printed elements.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Paper Play Sketches:  Sketch followed
Simon Says:  Hip To Be Square
Paper Shelter:  Back To School

Here is the second card for kids who are starting school this September!  This one is for Harry.  Again, I've used a Jellypark image, coloured with Promarkers and added with foam pads for depth.  The sentiment is also Jellypark - both no longer available.

Papers are A to Z by Samantha Walker - I've been creative with the borders and the circle die cut (there was not quite enough for a full circle so the image is hiding a gap!) and I'm using a lot of left overs!  The three black half pearls are from my stash  And to finish, I've added a running stitch with a black fine liner pen around the edge of the card and also the circle die cut.

Anything Goes

I've used a cute decoupage sheet - Tinsel Tots from La Pashe.  I've added it to some card from my stash and used an off cut for the card base.

Polkadoodle Challenge - Anything Goes

The current Polkadoodle challenge still has a week left to run and the theme is:

Anything Goes

I've made a number card using my own template and pretty dotty papers from Twiggy and Toots.  I've embossed it with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and then added a dotted line of Dovecraft Liquid Pearls around the edges (the nozzel on the bottle is wider so I get bigger dots!)

The panels have also had the liquid pearl dot treatment (Ranger) and I've embossed with a Cuttlebug number folder and a Me To You stars folder.

The sentiment is a die cut from Clearly Besotted - I cut each word twice and layered up.  Good luck with the challenge!

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 161

Welcome to a new From The Heart Stamps Sketch with a Twist challenge!  And it is a bit of a different challenge - there are 4 sketches to choose from and the one that took my fancy was number 47 from a few years ago.

I've used Deck The Halls Birdbrain, coloured with Promarkers plus a little glossy accents on the baubles.  I've used a fancy Spellbinders die to cut out the sentiment (from Jingle Bell Birdbrain) and the image.

Papers are from Forever Friends Cosy Christmas 6x6 pad and the ribbon is actually upholstery binding which I 've had lurking in my stash for years - I've doubled it up and added bakers twine to cover the join.  The little bell is from my stash.  I've added glitter glue around the edge of the sentiment and image - it just does not show up too well in the photo!

Good luck with the challenge!

The tag is a Sizzix die cut and I've added another Sizzix die cut - noel, again cut with the silver card.  For more details on the challenge pop over to Crimbo Crackers - good luck!

The current Polkadoodle challenge has a week left to run and the theme is:

Anything Goes

I've used elements from Lily Bug Love - I layered the image onto the topper and then cut it out, adding dotted lines of liquid pearls around the edges.  The sentiment has been added along with a button and embroidery thread from my stash.

I made the bottom of the card slightly flatter so that it would stand without rolling around!  Good luck with the challenge!
