I also found an ink pad that was a bit keen to colour the edges of the card and image, hence the slightly splodged look! I've coloured Betty with Promarkers and added a few dots of liquid pearls to her dress and the corners of the papers.

Samuel wrote the sentiment in his smallest handwriting and I've added the red ribbon from my stash. Lets hope he likes it!
The red heart has been made by me from fimo and everything else is from my stash.
I've used papers from DCWV - Christmas Multistack 6x6 plus a digital image by Lee Jacobs which I bought from here, coloured with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue on the fur bits of Santa's Suit!
The sentiment was computer generated and I've added two extras in the way of snowflakes. I bought a wooden box of these from Matalan in the post Christmas sale and I think they are supposed to be gift stickers but look much better as card embellishments!!And it's never too early to make Christmas cards!!
The papers again are Papermania 12 x 12 double sided 'Brown Ornate Clusters' along with Bazzill Basics 12 x 12 paper. The ribbon, flowers are brad are all from my stash.
And then I had an idea for backing papers - blue with a bit of brown. And remembered Now That's Funky, so printed off the two backing sheets - I actually printed them off smaller than A4 so I could see more of the pattern - rounded the edges and then inked them, layered it all up and added the image. I've used watercolour pencils to colour in and I realised that giraffe spots are actually dark brown rather than yellow, but, hey! Artistic licence!
The two flowers are really lush Prima's that I got as a freebie, the centres are card candy. I do like this card, especially the image and be warned - you will see more of it!!
All the elements - image, backing paper, embellishments and sentiment are all from the Patti Picklicious cd. The chandelier image I've layered onto black card to give it a bit more definition and have chalked the edges.
The sentiment has been cut from the titchy alphas that you can print out - I've not changed the sizing - they really are that small!
The embellishments are all cut from one of the backing sheets and I've simply cut out different parts of it and added a bit of glitter glue here and there.
The chandelier has been lightly chalked and again I've added some glitter glue, and as luck would have it, the black ink has bled into the glitter glue and turned it turquoise to match the rest of the card!

I've tried to keep it to the blue theme with just a hint of black and white! The image is a sticker - I need to do more male cards and this is one of the two packs I bought before Christmas but have not yet used. It's mounted onto thick white card which I have lightly chalked and then inked the edge in blue. This is layered onto a plain light blue card, again the edges have been inked with blue. The sentiment is from the Clare Curd Signature Range (the male stamp set), the flourishes are a Studio G acrylic stamp (actually two layered together).
All the backing paper are from various Funky Hand cd's the two main elements are from Funky Daze, and the horizontal strip, I think is, It's Funky Too. The gems are from my stash.

And I made not one but two cards based upon the sketch. It happens to be more Birthday parties for Samuel to attend so I need more quick boy's Birthday cards!
I really do like using my little dino stamp and its so easy to colour it with watercolour paints! All the backing papers are from It's Funky Too - the dotty one has actually been printed onto glossy photo paper for a different finish.
All edges have been inked in green and then black ink and the images have been gently chalked around the edges as the card was a little stark!
And this is what I made. The robot stamp is by Papermania and I've used a black Ink It Up ink pad as its more watery and easier to use on such a large surface. I've rounded all the corners, inked them and also chalked the background to the image as the white card was too stark.
The papers are from the same collection 'For Him' 6 x 6 and the stamps are from a clear acrylic Studio G set. And I've coloured in (badly as it was dark!) the little star on the boy sentiment.
I think I need to use this stamp more often!
And I made this card. Backing papers are from Funky Daze (oh how I like these swirls!) the image is a pre coloured one from my recent Holly and Madison purchase only because I liked the colours and they matched the papers!

The image is from Charmed Cards and Crafts and is the new Holly and Madison download and this one has been printed as pre-coloured (well, I thought the dress matched the papers perfectly!) I've lightly glittered her red bag (mainly because that is the only coloured glitter glue that I have which does not blob everywhere!) The backing papers are from It's Funky Too which I found in my off cut box - I am trying to use up all my odds and ends as much as I can without printing new papers each time.
The layered flowers I have cut using the Cuttlebug flowers die and are mulberry paper, which, surprisingly, I had in the right shade! I've doodled around the edges of the card and backing papers and also the flowers.
Sentiment is a Studio G acrylic bargain stamp stamped with Sugarloaf Green Whispers ink.
And instead of looking through all my stamped images (we've had a Funky Hand DT image swop recently!) I decided to raid my still large box of die cuts and bits. The dino is a recent purchase so expect to see more of these but in different colours in the future, and he's been coloured with chalks. The backing papers are left overs from a recent Dottie card which have been inked and then a wobbly doodily line around the outside has been added. Card candy from Craftwork cards (I bought a few colours!)
I've used papers from the Minty Madness download which have been faux stitched around the edges, pale green vellum tags (cut with Sizzix Scallop tag combo die) and I've hand written the sentiment on the smaller tag (no way could I have stamped the sentiment small enough!)
The white ribbon is from my stash and I've used a Cuttlebug die for the three sized flowers - their centres have been glittered with silver (photo does not really show it)

The two backing papers are downloads from Mad About Cards and the chipboard embellishments are from a fantastic pack of 6 from Pound World in Preston! You can imagine my utter delight when I chanced across these little beauties! I think there were 4 different traditional designs and two more contemporary. So I bought 11 packs in total!! And here is my interpretation. I was struggling to get any of my Christmas images and stamps to fit properly without it looking ridiculous, so decided to do a new baby card instead! Not got a clue what or where the yellow and white gingham backing paper came from - just discovered it in my stash. The cute giraffe is a Cuttlebug die and I've had it quite a while but never really used it, which is very tardy of me as it is a lovely die and cuts nice and crisp. I've chalked it to give a bit of definition and added a wobbly eye.
The dotty strips are translucent vellum run through the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, and the scallop edges have been made with my other new Martha Stewart punch (really sorry, but the names of them just escape me and I didn't write them down!) All edges have been lightly inked in black (yes it is still running out!) and the ribbon bow is silky stain ribbon from Blackburn market.
Again I've used the new Funky Hand Salt and Pepper download (it is so versatile!) and I did a little yelp when I saw the skull and crossbones paper as I've been wanting some of that for a while, for those teenager cards! I've ripped the skull and crossbones panel and then inked it with black for a bit more of a grunge look. The pirate hat has been coloured with watercolour pencils and is from Allison. The silver strips have been Cuttlebug embossed with Swiss Dots and are attached via 3d foam pads.
I've not used my watercolours this time - instead it is the turn of the watercolour pencils! I wanted to use the flowers (Prima Esprit) which I got as part of a subscription offer to Papercraft Inspirations so decided to base the colours around those. The backing paper is Dovecraft Amethyst 6x6 which I bought ages ago (probably because it was on special offer at £1.99) but have not really used, but the layout of the sketch made me have another look and I think the pattern lent itself well. The green block is some old posh writing paper that I've had since I was 15 (so yeah, quite old!) and the pink is vellum.
All edges including sentiment have been inked in pink. The sentiment is another bargain Studio G clear stamp from a girly pack.
