Hoppy Birthday!

A quick little card that I have made for the Pattie's Creations Challenge which this week is

Pets

And I'd say the frog qualifies for it, although I've never had one as a pet, I'm sure there are plenty who do!

I've used Promarkers to colour it and the main backing paper is from Tinker and Co with the greens from Funky Hand (probably Funky Daze!)

I've used Nesties for the shapes and layered it all with foam pads to give a bit of depth. I've handwritten the sentiment as I found the die cut tag from a previous creation that I'd not used, and the ribbon is from my stash.

I've got achy arms and wrists today - spent most of yesterday cleaning, and I mean cleaning!! Jacob was a big help and tried on most of the clothes in his wardrobe so we can pass on the ones that are too small. I used to get quite good wear from Samuel's clothes as they were then passed to Jacob, however Jacob is a big lad (he's above the 98th centile for height and weight - in proportion though!) and is almost the same size as his older brother so things don't last that long these days!

To Kiss A Frog

It seems that this is the time of year for getting Engaged! So needing to make a card, I took inspiration from the Friday Sketchers sketch:

One of the members of staff at nursery (although we are no longer there, but it's been big part of my life for 6.5 years!) got engaged a few weeks ago, and knowing Kim, I think she'll like the card I've made!

I've used backing papers from a brand new digital scrapbooking kit from Alison Sloan called Forever Autumn. And its that new, its not even released yet, so this is a big sneak preview! A big thank you to Alison for letting me dabble with the kit!!

The image is from Digi Sparkle which I picked as part of my recent winnings from winning their Challenge, and I've coloured it with Promarkers.

The red heart has been made by me from fimo and everything else is from my stash.

Just got a few more Engagement congratulations cards to make now - one of my cousins got Engaged at the weekend. Ah, I do like a good Wedding!!!

Toadily Hoppy Birthday!

Just could not resist the Digital Tuesday Challenge which is:

Make Those Men Laugh!

I'd been asked to make a 30th Birthday card by one of the staff at nursery for her partner and said I could do what I wanted! So here it is!

I've used a template for the frog - it was on the inside of a pack of Muller kids yoghurt's. I've used papers from The Funky One by Funky Hand. The numbers were created using Word Art and then I simply cut them out after printing on both sides of the card.

The numbers open out to reveal the frog! I've attached acetate to the numbers and then underneath the frog for stability. Wording has been stamped with a 99p wooden Studio G stamp set and I've then doodled around the edges.
