A Calming Lilac Card!

I've not managed a Penny Black challenge for a good few weeks so I made double sure that I would do this one, especially as its a sketch!

And once again, the card is subject to the New Photo Styling. Only cos I took it at the same time as the other one..... Anyhow, in keeping with the spirit of Using All My Bits Up I came across some of the stuff I won ages ago in Jozza's blog candy giveaway. And because I don't use lilacs very often, I thought it was very fitting. Plus I could only find the little purple sentiment tile so lilacs it had to be!

So, I've not got a clue about the backing paper with the pattern on - the plain lilac is some lovely paper I also found. Ribbon and sentiment from my stash and the Penny Black image has been watercoloured to match the papers. The disc the sentiment is attached to is cut using the Cuttlebug Baby Face alphabet die - its one of the extra shapes.

Hmmm. I quite like this card! And how amazing - the ribbon is a perfect match!

  • Backing papers: Don't know as was in a blog candy win!
  • Image: Penny Black coloured with watercolour paints
  • Dies: Circle disc - Cuttlebug Baby Face alphabet
  • Sentiment: A freebie from a craft magazine a while ago
  • Ribbon: From my stash
