Dr Digi are now over on Facebook so come over and join us! I'm showing a page from a special retirement card I made for a work colleague - I made the pages with 8x8 square card, doubling it up for extra strength - the reverse of each page was blank for everyone to sign.
I've used Deirdery Dunderton in her finest pinny and fluffly slippers, colouring her with Promarkers (plus glossy accents on the glasses). I've made the background from Bloomin' 70s Backing Papers and I've made it look like wallpaper. The skirting board and floorboards are from scrap card that I've shaded with Promarkers.
I added Deirdery with foam pads so she stands proud a little and the lettering is Sizzix - two different sets used (Girls are Weird and Round-a-Bout) and cut from shiny silver card. Parts, 2, 3 and 4 will follow in subsequent weeks! To hold all the pages together so they opened out like a concertina, I used ribbon - it was easier to photograph singularly!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Lemon Shortbread: Anything Goes
Dragonfly Dreams: Die Cuts
Daring Cardmakers: Hand Krafted
Great idea for incorporating the kraft into your card!
