The DCM Challenge this week is the following sketch and it is sponsored by Funky Hand too!
So what better excuse than to use Funky Hand paper!
So here is my take on the sketch:
I've used the Paper Blossoms download - I'd already printed the papers off a while ago with good intentions to use them, but never did! The background has been printed onto vellum and then layered onto the card black. And I do like stripes!! So the two flowers (already printed on the toppers set) were used - the background one has got 'congratulations' written on it. I made the flower from the lovely chocolate brown satin ribbon by cutting small sections, looping them and then sticking with glue dots to the card. A silver daisy brad hides the ends of the ribbon.
The edges of the card and layers have all been inked using fuchsia pink and black.
- Backing papers: Paper Blossoms download from Funky Hand
- Ribbon: From Blackburn Market (10p for around 4 metres!!)
- Brads: Dovecraft daisies
Wow, I love this card and I love the Funky Hand papers, have just got Minty Madness.
