Jellypark Challenge 20 - Bunnies

It's time for another Jellypark challenge! We had a little break over Easter and now we are raring to go! The theme for the challenge this fortnight is:

Little Bunny

I've used the rather cute bunny from Jellypark that is actually a real stamp and can be bought from My Favourite Things. This one is a little girl and she has been coloured with Promarkers and added to the pocket cartoon with a strip of left over laminating from a previous project (I don't like to throw anything away - just in case!)

The template for the pocket cartoon is from Waltzing Mouse and I've used it lots of times and it is so easy to use! The papers are from the fab Sugarplum Daisy cd from Polkadoodles.

Good luck with the challenge and watch out for the new release stamps!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Recycle, Re-Purpose and Reinvent: Anything Goes (the strip of laminate)
The Crafter's Cafe: Spring with Pastels
Crafting For All Seasons: Anything But A Card
Divas By Design: Anything But A Card
Penny's Paper Crafty: Anything But A Card

Polkadoodle Challenge 13 - Easter & BLOG HOP!

It's time for another Polkadoodle challenge but this week we have a bit of a twist! We still have our regular challenge but we also have a blog hop which is also part of the challenge!! And you know what that means - LOADS of candy!!

CHALLENGE STAGE 1: Now, we know not everyone like to do a hop for whatever reason, so we still have our normal challenge for the week which is EASTER themed - you must make a card or project which is Easter themed.

But that's not all...

CHALLENGE STAGE 2: Our second challenge is the blog hop - if you hop along with us this week you will find that the Easter Bunny has arrived early and left some hidden goodies on some of the Design Teams blogs - but you have to hop though the whole list to find who the Easter Bunny has visited!

You need to complete both the Easter themed challenge and the blog hop to be in with a chance of winning one of the fantastic prizes on offer! You need to go to the challenge blog to see what is on offer but it is fabulous! There will be one grand prize winner and two second place winners!

The Easter Bunny has arrived early at my blog and I'm giving away a copy of the brand new (and very fantastic!) Sugarplum Daisy cd (image kindly 'borrowed' from Polkadoodles!) To be in with a chance of getting your hands on the cd, simply leave a comment on my blog! It's that easy!

And now onto my project for the week! I've used one of the decoupage images from Paper Boutique Vol 1, using foam pads to layer up the different elements. The pouch is a template I found on the internet and I've used papers from the same Flopsie Bunny collection and printed on both sides.

The bunny has then been added with a strip of acetate so he boings around! For a bit more interest, I've added some Marianne Creatable die cuts around the pouch, colouring them with Promarkers to match.

Right, back to the blog hop! If you have arrived at my blog from Lana then you are on the right track! The letter you require from me is

A

Keep it safe and now hop to Claire!

Good luck! If you get stuck, please go back to the Polkadoodle Challenge blog where you will find the full list of Polkadoodlers. Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog as you pass though!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Charisma Cardz: Easter
Cute Card Thursday: Happy Easter
Delightful Challenges: Easter
Paper Play Challenges: Easter
  • Bunny and paper: Paper Boutique Vol 1
  • Dies: Marianne Creatables
  • Pouch template: Waltzing Mouse freebie

Simply Create Challenge 41 - All About Eggs

Welcome to another Simply Create challenge! We are getting masses of entries for each challenge - thank you! We do enjoy looking through all your creations - so keep them coming! As Easter is approaching, the theme this fortnight is:

All About Eggs

I've made two very cute pouches with a free template download from Waltzing Mouse. I've printed it directly onto papers from Craft The Year Away cd from Funky Hand and the little furry things you see poking out, have been drawn by our very own Trish!
I've coloured them with Promarkers then added a strip of acetate to their reverse and pinned it with a We R Memory Keepers snap to the pocket. The front of the pocket has been inked and the corner pulled down and secured with a brad. And then filled with eggs! These will be for the boys - they've seen me making them but without the eggs so they've not realised what they are! Good luck with the challenge - hope you can join us!

Chocolate Carrot!

It's not every day you see cute bunnies carrying a chocolate carrot! The digi image is a freebie from Dustin Pike and the challenge this week is:

Anything But A Card with an Easter Theme

So here is my offering! I've coloured the image with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue on their powder puff tails and glossy accents on their noses.

They are attached to a gift pouch via a strip of acetate and I've added extra bits of card to the back of it to help it boing around a bit more! The gift pouch template I found on the Waltzing Mouse website and its a freebie download. I simply printed it out and then cut it out! Really quick to make and you can add extra features by using fancy scissors or adding ribbons etc.

Papers are from Funky Hand - Craft The Year Away and I've printed on both sides. A bit of inking and some brads from my stash and the pouch is finished!

And before you ask, yes, I still have all the eggs left and no, I won't be eating them as this is destined for a little boy who will be enjoying his first Easter!
