Resist Technique
This isn't something I've ever used but found a white crayon in the boys pencil box and decided to use it as snowflakes. I literally ground the tip of the crayon into the card and then sprayed it with blue and silver ink. It is actually quite sparkly in real life - the photo just doesn't show it.
And the cute little penguin is from Jellypark which is sadly no longer available and I've coloured him with Promarkers. Good luck with the challenge!

Cute image, looks great on the circular base and the crayon has given a graet effect for the snowflakes! Kids almost never use the white crayon, do they?
