Santa does enjoy a good sing-a-long and he's made sure this year that despite what Mrs Claus says, he is getting an upgrade on his karaoke machine! And here he is making the most of it!
Karaoke Claus is available in the Dr Digi store along with the sentiment. Papers from Polkadoodles and everything else from my stash. Card styling by the other half.....

Dear Santa, Define Naughty.....
Oh dear. You really would not want to be a snowman with all the occupational hazards.
Snow Fun is available to buy from the Dr Digi store - sentiment is part of a wonderfully phrased Christmas Sentiments Sheet 01. A perfect Christmas combination!
Papers are from Christmas Hollibobs cd from Polkadoodles, snowflake is a die cut and I've used Promarkers and Watercolour pencils for colouring. Everything else, my stash.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 70 - Buttons
It's time for another Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is:
And here is a little something I created sort of by accident! The card is from my stash and I've had it for ages - I cut it down to create the 13.5cm square card. I've got quite a few buttons (not sure how that happened!) and thought they would look good as baubles for a quick and easy Christmas card.
I printed one of the sentiments from a Polkadoodles Christmas cd directly onto the card stock, added the buttons (used glossy accents) and then added the bows and strings along with the half pearls. And that's it!
It's nice to do something a bit different every once in a while, and the best thing is, I made a few of these in less time than it takes to make one that I've coloured and really thought about!
Good luck with the challenge - it last 2 weeks and although there isn't a sponsor, I'll be providing a little prize!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
As You Like It Challenge: Favourite Christmas Style
Aud Sentiments: Sentiment for December Holiday
In The Pink Challenge: Clean and Simple and Pink
Crafting By Designs: Get Ready for Christmas
Inky Impressions: Pearls

Age Is Just A Number....
.... In your case, a really high one. Say what you see! To pinch a catchphrase! Sentiment from the Birthday Sentiment Sheet 01 from Dr Digi - just great for when you need something quick. And insulting.
I've used a We R Memory Keepers tool to make the stitching holes and then with a black fineliner pen, joined up the dots - faux stitching at its finest! Papers I found in my stash (needed to use them up) and circles cut with dies. Little bronze dinosaur charm from my ever growing stash of charms (can't knock ebay and China!)

Here's hoping your Birthday is a blast! Retro Rocket can fly you to the moon for just £2. And if its the actual moon you want, then that is just a mere £1. But don't forget the multi-buy deals - all designed to be interglatically lots of fun and all from Dr Digi!
Card blank is a rather old Papermania pack that I found in my stash and the two images have been coloured with Promarkers. Sentiment handwritten.

It's time for a new challenge at Crimbo Crackers and the theme for the fortnight is Clean and Simple.
I've printed my From The Heart Stamps image directly onto my cardstock and used Promarkers to colour. The sentiment also comes with the digi image.
I've glittered around the outside edge of the card and added blue organza ribbon with bakers twine, tied in a bow along with a silver snowflake charm. Nice and easy!

Special Brew
There are lots of spooky goings on over at Dr Digi - and here is one that I left brewing earlier! Special Brew and for good measure Crossbones. I don't think these need to carry a health warning as they look pretty grim to begin with!
Hope you are ready for things that go BUMP in the night! I've added the images after colouring them with Promarkers to a sheet of acetate with a black card base behind. I've wrapped a wide peice of ribbon around the join at the top and then added some black funky fibres as well.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 68 - Round
It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme this fortnight is Round. Don't forget that your entry must be Christmas or Festive related.
I've used a fab circle sentiment from Jellypark (which I don't think is available any more - sorry!) and enlarged it to make it the actual card. I've added the scalloped edge by punching hearts and gluing them underneath.
A bit of highlighting with Promarkers, inking and glitter glue, some half pearls and the card is complete!
Good luck with the challenge!

Monster Fun
Halloween is approaching and what better way to celebrate than with the good Dr Digi Halloween Sentiments which have eerily turned into cupcake toppers! Now I would show you how they are supposed to look however this house has no cupcakes and I didn't think they would look right stabbed through some Jaffa Cakes.......
Buy the Sentiment Sheet along with Special Brew and Witchy Wilma and save a £1 - enough to buy some treats!

What Solves Everything?
A cuppa, that's what!
And even better when the cuppa digi from Dr Digi is only 50p! You can't buy a real cuppa tea for that price! Scrumpled sentiment panel is from a bag of sugar. Recycling at it's sweetest.
Mix of faux and real stitching - using a We R Memory Keeper roller thing (combination of a 99p reduced to clear head from Hobbycraft and a bargain on Amazon for the holder - £6 and free shipping) for the pattern. Actual stitching using a black fineliner pen. Genuine tea stains from a previous cuppa, digi coloured with Promarkers, embroidery thread from my stash and charm from ebay. Another bargain - £2 for 100 of the little things!

Strongo Turns 40
Strongo the Magnificent from Dr Digi shows no signs of slowing down or retiring - how could he when he's only turning 40!
Trophy (with handles removed) is from the cheap section at Dr Digi. Go get yours! I hope my brother appreciates this - how organised am I? His Birthday is not until the end of December! He was the bodybuilding Mr Junior Great Britain when he was 18 so it does look a bit like him (although he's never had a 'tash!)
The background paper is from Sassy Designs and the sentiment I cut from a shop bought card (I actually bought it so I could cut out the chalk board effect sentiment and the others that were on it!)
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Digi Sketch: Make Me Laugh
Pink Elephant Challenge: Anything Goes
Opus Gluei: Happy Birthday

From The Heart Stamps Sketch 81
It's my last sketch challenge as a Guest Designer for From The Heart Stamps - and I've sure enjoyed myself during the past 2 months! Thank you! The sketch is below and the twist is to use eyelets. Don't forget that you must use a From The Hearts Stamp for your entry.
I've used Flappy Birthday Birdbrain which is the progressive freebie image for September. I've used a combination of Promarkers and watercolour pencils to colour the image and I remembered that I bought a pack (actually two) of these scalloped edged card blanks from Sainsburys during the summer as they had a 25% off promotion.
I've used black and red card from my stash for layering and the ribbon and half pearls are also from my stash - the sentiment comes with the image.

Simply Create Too - Special Occasion
It's time for a new Simply Create Too Challenge and this fortnight the theme is Special Occasion. I've made a simple wordbook using some wonderful linen effect white card from The Papermill Direct.
I've cut out letters using an existing wordbook template, added them to the pages with foam pads for depth and then added stickles around the edges. The half pearls, charms and organza ribbon are from my stash. The smaller letters are a Cuttlebug die and I've added them via a strip of acetate. Simple!
Good luck with the challenge and pop over to the blog to have a look at all the special occasions the Design Team are celebrating!

From The Heart Stamps - Sketch 80
My Guest Designer two month term at From The Heart Stamps is almost at an end - next week will be the last sketch I take part in. It's a fab little sketch this week and don't forget that you can flip it and add extra embellishments, just as long as the sketch is clear and you've used a From The Heart Stamps then its good to enter!
The twist this week is to use a handmade embellishment but you don't need to add the twist if you don't want to. Challenge closes on 28 September at 10pm CST and each entrant will receive a $1 voucher to use either towards a digi from the store or can be saved up and used to snag a free stamp!
I've used Birdbrain Balloon (which is becoming one of my favourites), coloured with Promarkers and watercolour pencils for the sky. Papers are from Funky Hand - left over from making a wordbook - I really don't like to throw pretty papers away when I can reuse them so easily! I've made the little pin with tiny beads and some sequins. The trim is from the scrap store and is actually upholstery trim which makes it easy to glue down!
I've added some faux stitching around the edges of the panels and the card is complete! Good luck with the challenge and don't forget to use a FTHS image!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Plump and Juicy
Now you may be forgiven for thinking you've already seen this little creation; fear not - it is BBQ Bill's identical twin brother - Bert - who is equally gifted with the Char-Master 2000. Maybe plump and juicy are the wrong adjectives.....
BBQ Bill / Bert is available in the Dr Digi store - go on - you know you want one!
Colouring done with Promarkers, grass is an icicle Marianne Creatables die (multi functional!) and the brick wall is from Polkadoodles. The lovely retro signage was part of a tissue box (yes, I did buy the tissues just for the box!) and I have been known to root through a whole shelf to find an interesting design that I can reuse!

From The Heart Stamps - Sketch #79
It's time for another From The Heart Stamps challenge and its another fab sketch with a twist! And the twist is to add a bit of humour! You must use a FTH image (there are loads to choose from the store) and follow the sketch - and every sketch you enter, you receive a $1 coupon to redeem against your next stamp purchase; they last for a month which means you can save them up and use them to get a free digi!
I've used Full of Beans Birdbrain digi and coloured it with Promarkers. I've typically kept it all clean and simple and decided on (it actually was an inspired moment!) adding bunting with some off-cuts of card from a previous project (I hate to throw pretty papers away!)
The sentiment also comes with the digi - everything else is from my stash. Good luck with the challenge - don't forget to follow the sketch, use a FTH image and pop over to the community to see all the inspiration from the Design Team!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Tag You're It
Just a quick reminder tha the current Polkadoodle challenge has a week remaining - I've made a bottle tag using an offcut of card plus one sheet of A4 paper from the Work and Play 5 Festive Hollibobs cd - I printed the design onto both sides and made 3 different sizes of flowers and then added a glass gem to the centre of some of them.
Just goes to show that the cd can be used all year around and it doesn't have to be Christmas! Everything else is from my stash.

It's time for a new sketch challenge at From The Heart Stamps and the sketch is below - the twist this week is to use something recycled! You don't need to follow the twist but to enter the challenge you must use a From The Heart digi stamp.
I've used Birdbrain Winter Scarf and coloured it with Promarkers - sentiment comes with the digi. The papers I found when having a sort out of my rather overflowing box of oddments and its from Funky Hand - Funky Daze cd and if you are quick there is a HUGE sale on - all cds are just £1!!! You really cannot miss an offer like that and Funky Daze is one of my favourite Funky Hand cds too!
The buttons are my other recycled element and the half pearls are from my stash. Good luck with the challenge and don't forget to use a FTHS!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Bastel Traum: Animals
Ladybug Crafts: Anything Goes
Crafting Musketeers: Buttons
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge: Anything Goes
Creative Cottage: Things With Wings

From The Heart Stamps - September Blog Hop!
Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop; the theme for September is For the Bird(brains). As you hop along, please leave a comment on each blog as one random commenter will be selected from each stop on the blog hop to win an image of choice from the FTHS store. Plus one commenter on the From the Heart Stamps blog will be selected to win a $15 gift voucher to the store!
And that's not all! Have you ever had a great idea for a Birdbrain image? Well, this is your chance! One lucky winner randomly selected from all the comments left on the FTHS blog will be selected to work with Faith to design a Birdbrain image!
As you hop from blog to blog, if you like the look of the tutorial you can recreate it and don't forget to use a FTHS and your favourite Birdbrain image - just link your blog up with the InLinkz code at the bottom of each blog post as a random link will be picked to win my creation!
I've made a simple Tee-Pee card using one of my favourite FTHS images - Birdbrain Balloon - and coloured it with Promarkers and then cut it out.
Next, I printed Sassy Designs - Primary onto some thick cardstock - you will need three 11cm square peices. Sign up to the newsletter on the website as you'll get to hear of the fantastic sales where the digi paper packs are reduced to 99cents!
Score diagnally across each of the three squares to create a valley fold on the non-printed side. I've also inked all the edges with a brown Whispers inkpad (cheap and cheerful!)
To construct the Tee-Pee, lay the three squares as shown - overlapping each one. Double check that it will all fold together before you glue it, just in case (you can always trim the edges if needed to make it fold flat)
Stand the card up and embellish as desired with your favourite FTHS image! I've also added glossy accents to the balloon and eyes. And I've replaced the balloon string with an offcut of bakers twine. To keep the card shape when its stood up, I've added a button which has a foam pad underneath so that the flap rests on it and keeps it all closed. Alternatively, you can add a brad.

Back to the blog hop! If you have arrived from Joanna, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything. Don't forget to leave me a comment before you hop over to Angela to see what she's created.
Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Sunday 14 September at 6am, EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday 17 September.
Good luck!

Simply Create Too - Something New
The current Simply Create Too challenge is at its halfway stage and the challenge theme is Something New.
I've made a Good Luck at school card for my neice and used two new charms that I bought (and rather a few more on ebay!) So new school, new experience and new charms!
The papers are from Samantha Walker - A to Z Mega pack and the image is from Jellypark - Girl With Sign - and I've coloured her with Promarkers and handwrote the sign.
Good luck with the challenge!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments: Any Sentiment Except Birthday
CRAFT Challenge: Back To School
Hanna and Friends: Special Card
Milk, Coffee Challenge: Back To School

Forgotten Funkies - Steam Funk
It's the last Friday of the month so its time for the Funky Hand Design Team to showcase a blast from the past and this month its the turn of the Steam Funk download.
There are lots of papers plus an alphabet and digi stamps and the papers work so well with Kraft card - as I've used on my card!
I've printed directly onto kraft cardstock and then layered the papers plus made a little house from scraps. The sentiment is handwritten and all the other embellishments are from my stash - the little heart pearls I've had for an absolute age and the cute bronze keys are a recent ebay purchase! A great versitile download - if you want to see more, just pop over to Get Funky and have a look at the rest of the Design Teams creations!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks: Something Old (heart pearls), Something New (key charms)
Aud Sentiments: Any Sentiment Except Birthday
Crafting For All Seasons: Monochromatic
Fan-Tastic Tuesday: Anything Goes

I've again used an offcut of card, hence why some of it overhangs the top! Ribbon is from my stash along with the embroidery thread and I bought the sunflower charm from ebay (along with quite a few others too - all from China and bargains!)

On Your Retirement - Part 4
Here is the final part of the epic Retirement card! Parts 1, 2 and 3 have been shown on previous Tuesdays if you want a look back. This page features Bath Time Deirdery from Dr Digiand some equally electrifying papers - Echo Park, Summerdays.
And this is the front cover to the Retirement card - its also in our organisation colours!
So, that's it! I've handwritten the tag and used various dies - X Cut for the mirror and Sizzix for the letters and tag. It's received lots of giggles around the office as people were writing their well wishes on the reverse.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Come and Get It Challenges: Anything Goes with a Sentiment
Fairytale Stampers: Anything Goes
Scribble and Scrap: Anything Goes
A Gem of A Challenge: Stitching
Allsorts: Bright Sunshiny Colours

From The Heart Stamps - Sketch #77
Continuing my time as a Guest Designer over at From The Heart Stamps, its time for another sketch challenge which also has a twist - flower power! The sketch is below and it can be rotated as you wish but you MUST use a From The Hearts Stamp.
I've used Birdbrain Needs Coffee digi stamp and coloured it with Promarkers. The sentiment also comes with the image and I printed it underneath the image before using an X Cut oval die to cut it all out. Papers are Echo Park Summerdays and I've used flowers, stick pins and half pearls that I had in my stash.
Good luck with the sketch challenge - it lasts for 2 weeks and make sure you use a FTHS!

On Your Retirement - Part Two
So, you've gone for lots of long rambling walks and that has really invigorated you on your retirement, so what to do next? Take up a new hobby of course!!
Here is Deirdery Wired For Sound from Dr Digi in her retro 80's outfit, slowly getting to grips with the roller boots, elbow and knee pads essential.
I used to have some rather similar roller boots. However they were butchered by my brother - his skateboards wheels were knackered, so next best thing were mine. And he tried to hide the evidence of his cunningness in the bottom of my wardrobe.
Nearly 30 years on and the memory still smarts somewhat.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes with Optional Sights, Sounds, Smells and Tastes of Summer
Crafting When We Can: Bright Colours
Robyns Fetish: Anything Goes
My Time To Craft: Unusual Coloured Hair
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge: Anything Goes

From The Heart Stamps - Sketch #76
Here is the new sketch over at From The Heart Stamps - the challenge is open for two weeks and you must use a FTHS image and follow the sketch - the twist element is entirely upto you if you want to add it!
I've used Fishing Birdbrain and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are Echo Park - Summerdays. I'm trying to use up all the offcuts of card I get when making a square card from an A4 sheet and I've managed to use one here - thats why some elements of the card fall off the edge!
Half pearls, embroidery thread and charm are all from my stash. Good luck with the challenge!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Kraftin' Kimmie: Outdoor Activities
Speedy Fox and Friends: Feathers
Animal Friends: Summer
Alphabet Challenge: M for Men
