A well deserved award and a keepsake card to celebrate. I've used the trophy digi from the Dr Digi store however, I had a little accident with a sharp pair of scissors and ended up snipping one of the handles off. So the other one had to go through the same treatment.
Fear not, the one in the store is fully intact!
This has been made for a colleague at work and features his photos from the community from which he lives and has been awarded, the, well, award. The two charms are from my stash - representing a camera (he takes a lot of photos of the landscape where he lives) and an alarm clock to represent the amount of time he devotes to helping the community.

Strongo Turns 40
Strongo the Magnificent from Dr Digi shows no signs of slowing down or retiring - how could he when he's only turning 40!
Trophy (with handles removed) is from the cheap section at Dr Digi. Go get yours! I hope my brother appreciates this - how organised am I? His Birthday is not until the end of December! He was the bodybuilding Mr Junior Great Britain when he was 18 so it does look a bit like him (although he's never had a 'tash!)
The background paper is from Sassy Designs and the sentiment I cut from a shop bought card (I actually bought it so I could cut out the chalk board effect sentiment and the others that were on it!)
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Digi Sketch: Make Me Laugh
Pink Elephant Challenge: Anything Goes
Opus Gluei: Happy Birthday
The Squirrel and the Fox: Happy Birthday

Winning Birthday
Well, what do you send a bloke who has it all? A Winning Birthday card of course! Made with the Trophy image and computer generated text its sure to be a hit! And the best thing is, the image is in the cheapies section over at Dr Digi so its a right bargain!
I've coloured the image with Promarkers, added computer generated text and found some papers in my stash that quite frankly have been there for an age and needed using up - and perfect for the card! Some faux stitching and its all done!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Come And Get It Challenges: Birthday
ABC Challenge: K is for Keep It Simple
Cards Galore Encore: Anything Goes

Knitting Champion
Knitty Nora, who once was the Knitting Champion of Kendal in 1953, is still very active in knitting circles and regularly donates all her finished items to a refuge for abandoned animals. These sad and neglected animals find great comfort in Nora's misshapen knits and her weird and wonderful colour combinations are most welcome to the chameleons.
So here is a snapshop of Nora in action, proudly displaying the Champion of Kendal 1953 trophy.
You too can have your very own Knitty Nora (with or without sparkly pink fluffly slippers) as she is available to buy right now. And to finish the scene, the trophy and coffee table have been added. All available to buy from Doctor Digi!
