Spots and Stripes
Which, is also one of my favourite combinations too! The rules are really easy - simply use one Funky Hand product in your creation and enter before the challenge ends (31 January) to be in with a chance of winning a £20 voucher to be spend on the Funky Hand website!
For my sample I've made a sturdy gift bag. I say sturdy because I inadvertently used 300gsm smooth white card (from The Papermill Shop) and it is a little rigid! I've printed the backing papers - and you are getting a big sneak preview of the new cd here - Dreams Come True - which will knock your socks off as it is totally different in its navigation, presentation and products that have been offered before from Anice! The cd is launched in the middle of January - keep an eye on my sidebar for tv launch details as you won't want to miss out on this one!
I've printed papers from the same collection and either weaved or layered them onto the gift bag. I've made the flowers from double sided quality paper - drew a circle, cut random petal shapes into them, curled them slightly and then layered. The tendrils are left over strips of paper curled around a pen and added.
A bit of inking around the edges of all papers with chestnut Whispers ink and that is it!
The ribbon was a bargain from a craft shop that was relocating - it is sort of like a linen edging ribbon and cost me £1 for around 15 metres and I got it in two colourways too!
Hope you enjoyed the sneak preview of Dreams Come True and hope you enter the challenge as we love to visit and see your creations! You have until 31 January to enter.
Good luck!!
