Birthday Treats

I found a cute fortnightly challenge blog whilst hopping around last week and it is hosted by an 11 year old called Aly! The blog is called Aly's Sunday Sketch Challenge - pop over and have a look! She is currently asking for sponsors so if you fancy it let her know!

And here is my interpretation! Papers and image are from Love and Cherish from Polkadoodles with the organza ribbon and buttons from my stash. The image is pre-coloured (very handy!) and I've dotted around the edges of it and the card with a pink gel pen after inking.

I've shaped the card and image by drawing round my largest Nestie and then cutting it out - just gives the edge something else. Quite like the technique so don't be surprised if you see it again!
