Caught Your Heart!

Here is a cute image from I Heart Digital Stamps and its the freebie for the January progressive challenge - join in with the challenge for the month and the following month you get the new image for free!

I've coloured the image primarily with Promarkers and used watercolour pencils for the background. All card layers are from my stash along with the ribbon. Nice and quick to put together!

The theme, if you're joining in, is anything goes, but we'd love to see your Oriental themed creations too - perfect for Chinese New Year!

Forgotten Funkies - Paper Blossom!

It's time for another Forgotten Funkies post where the Funky Hand Design Team go back to a forgotten download and showcase it! There are more examples on the team blog if you want a look for more inspiration and how to use this fab download!

The download that we are using is called Paper Blossom and its available for only £3.49 - you get papers, sentiments and lots more for your money! I've made three Mothers Day cards in the same style but using different papers from the download:

I've used a few Spellbinder dies and the letters are cut with a Cuttlebug alphabet die set. I've used a tissue hat from a Christmas cracker for the flower and the others are fancy papers from flower displays - I like to recycle!

Time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge! And the theme is:

Christmas Happiness

I'm very fortunate to be sponsored by Rick St Dennis and I've enjoyed colouring the image! I've used Promarkers to colour plus a little gold glitter here and there. The Pointsettas are some die cuts that I found in my Christmas drawers along with a Polkadoodle sentiment and some Funky Hand Silent Night papers.

The ribbon is from Lidl and the brad I found on the table! Good luck with the challenge!

Simply Create Too Challenge - Valentines Day or Hearts

It's a new challenge over at Simply Create Too and the challenge theme for the fortnight is:

Valentines Day or Hearts

I've used a quick card kit from Cuddly Buddly - really easy to use - just print out the papers and add to the card blank as they are layered up ready to go!

I've used a fab image from Time For Tea Designs called Bubbles and coloured her with Promarkers plus some stickles. The little sentiment is also from Cuddly Buddly.

A great quick cardto make! Good luck with the Simply Create Too challenge!

A Quick Male Card

Here is a little something to share with you - all the printed papers are offcuts and are from the Funky Hand Sleigh Ride download paper pack - so you see - Christmas papers can be used all year round!

I've used a Kraft card base and then added the papers, using recycled string and X Cut star die cuts along with a Sizzix tag die cut.

The sentiment I've handwritten and its all layered up with foam pads.  I don't like to throw away my offcuts and I'm glad I saved these!

Will Miss Ewe

Now I must admit that I do have a soft spot for this particular digi - Flossy - as it is so easy to work with. Plus I can use all the woolly puns I can think of, including the one on this card!

And just perfect to make a leaving card! I've coloured Flossy with Promarkers and used some fence die cuts from my stash (dread to think how long I've had them!) plus die cut some grass with my Marianne Icicles die. Flossy actually moves via a little Papermaina spring thing.

The card was quite large as a lot of people needed to sign it!

I'd like to etner the following challenges:

Craft A Scene: Anything Goes
Brown Sugar: Anything Goes
Card Making Mamas: Move It

Girl With Bow

Here is the first of the two new releases this fortnight from Jellypark. This one is called Girl With Bow in her Hair. I've coloured her with Promarkers and then used a Spellbinder die to cut it out (I really do like this die!)

All the papers are from Funky Hand - Little Princess download and the sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly. And finally, the buttons and thread are from my stash - rather pleased to find some that exactly matched the papers! And for once, I selected the papers and coloured the image accordingly - makes things a lot easier!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
