Bear Fishing

Isn't this such a sweet image? I was really cheeky a few weeks ago and asked Debbie (I'd seen her use the image on an Oldie But A Goodie challenge) if she'd stamp me a few as it was perfect for a card I'd been asked to make. It will be from a little boy to his Grandad on his 60th Birthday and he likes sailing boats!

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and all the papers are from the Polkadoodle download Fathers Day. The brads are from my stash and I've added a computer generated sentiment. A little bit of faux stitching around the edges and the card is complete!

I promise Debbie that I'll send you some images in the post in return - just not done any stamping recently. So sorry its taken so long to return the good favour!

I've used the Pollycraft sketch for inspiration and would also like to enter the following challenges:

Card Makin' Mama's: Birthday Cards
Glitter Geeks: Furry and Feathery Friends
Crafting For All Seasons: Beach / Ocean
Deep Ocean Challenge: Deep Ocean

  • Image: Unknown - sent to me by Debbie
  • Papers: Fathers Day download from Polkadoodles
  • Sentiment: Computer generated

Dude Time Doodles - Challenge 18 - Inspiration Theme

It's the third Wednesday of the month which can only mean an Inspiration theme board at Dude Time Doodles! Just look at all those reds! And what did I make? A Christmas card! Well red to me does mean Christmas! And here is St Nick checking his naughty or nice list! I've coloured him with Promarkers and have used a very versatile Father's Day download from Polkadoodles for my papers.

A bit of inking and doodling and my card is complete! The snowflakes are silver and are actually confetti although they do look a little black in the photo!

Do hope you can join in the challenge this week - for more details pop over to the Challenge blog and make sure you follow our few rules! Good luck!

My card fits the following challenges:

Crazy Challenge: Christmas In July

The Crafty Pad: Christmas In July

Creative Inspirations: Christmas In July

Paper Sundaes: Christmas In July

Welcome to another Polkadoodle challenge! This week the DT have been tasked with raiding through their stamp box (or digi stamp folder) to find an image to use with Polkadoodle papers. The challenge to you is a colour theme:

Red, White and Blue

Good luck with the challenge - its open until Sunday 3 July at 12noon GMT.

Polkadoodle Challenge 21 - Male Theme & Blog Hop!

Welcome to another Polkadoodle challenge! This week the challenge is

To make something for Fathers Day or Male Related

We are also celebrating our third year Anniversary so we have a hop for you too this week with blog candy at every stop, generously donated by Nikky - the owner and creator of everything Polkadoodle!

During the blog hop there is a hidden message - so you have to hop from blog to blog to find out what it is and what to do!

For my Fathers Day creation, I've used papers from the Fathers Day download from the Polkadoodles website. The letters from the same download were used as a template over a sheet of thick acetate which I then ran through a Cuttlebug embossing folder and dotted a black border with a Sharpies marker. The brads are We R Memory Keepers. Really quick and easy to make!

Onto the blog hop! You really need to follow the correct order otherwise the message will be muddled! If you've arrived at me from COLETTE then you are on the right track! Please leave me a comment before you leave and my word is:

DOWNLOAD

Put this with all the words you have so far and now hop over to SASKIA who will reveal another word! If you get lost, just start again at the Polkadoodle blog!

All the comments left on this post before the closing date will be entered into a draw to win the Double Sprinkles of Kraft cd as shown in the picture below! Generously donated by Nikky! If you don't leave a comment then no chance of winning!

Good luck with the hop and challenge! Both will end at 12noon on Sunday 5 June - and please remember our rules. UPDATE - BLOG HOP WILL END ON SUNDAY 12 JUNE AT 12noon due to issues with leaving comments

  • Papers: Fathers Day download from Polkadoodles

  • Snaps / Brads: We R Memory Keepers
