Thanks Sow Much!

The current Bee Crafty challenge is:

Thank You

And I've made this interactive card using the Back To Nature cd from Polkadoodles. All the elements on the card are from the cd - basically you just print off the ones you want and cut out the pig and fence and that is it!

I've attached the double sided pig with an acetate strip so it boings around! The fence is also double sided but that is simply attached to the side of the card to allow it to move.

I've layered the sentiment using two toppers and have handwritten the message. I've also used liquid peals on some of the flower centres.

And there you have it - a fun thank you card!

Frosty Blue

The current Bee Crafty Challenge is this sketch:
I used a freebie download image from the blog which is this flower girl, however I turned her into a blue snow girl with excessive glitter in her hair and basket. The glitter is quite coarse so didn't realise it would stick to everything.

The image has been coloured with watercolour pencils and I've used papers from Blue Christmas download from Funky Hand. The snowflakes are confetti and have a lovely iridescent shimmer to them.

I was going to add a sentiment but forgot. So it will be added later!

Bookmark Card

The Bee Crafty challenge this fortnight is to:

Make a bookmark

There is a free image of a stack of books that can be downloaded and this is what I have used as my bookmark. I've also made a card for the bookmark to go with plus this is now earmarked for a Birthday in November - see - getting organised!

I've used digital papers from About A Boy freebie download from Vicki's blog which I have resized to fit the card blank. The bookmark isn't actually quite finished as I want to laminate it so that the image and letters don't get spoilt.
I've coloured the image with watercolour pencils and the lettering is cut using my Cuttlebug Baby Face alphabet set. The reverse of the book mark is quite plain but I may change that before I laminate it.

The scrabble tile lettering on the front of the card is Anita's - it was a bargain £1 so I just had to have it!

All Digital! (Mostly)

I have found a new challenge site - Bee Crafty which runs a challenge on alternative Saturdays; the current one is:

To use digital papers and a digital image

So, I have used, a quickie digital card by the lovely Kirsty Wiseman - really really easy to use - simply print it out, cut it up and stick it on! Everything you see, with exception to the ribbon, wire and birdies is from the download. The two little birdies are from the Polkadoodles Candy Doodles cd and I've simply added a little bit of glitter (well, a great big blob of glitter to be honest as it came out rather fast!) to their wings.

Great simple card!
