This is my final week as Guest Designer for Deedee's Digi's and I just had to add a Christmas card to the collection! These Merry and Bright penguins are so cute and fun - coloured with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue and glossy accents on the fairy lights.
I've kept the card simple so the image shows itself off - layered onto black and red card to make it pop, along with the sentiment, I've just added some glitter glue and half pearls for extra detail.
The card blank has been made from an offcut of card from making a square card blank previously - I save all these offcuts just for cards like these!
I've really enjoyed my month being Guest Designer for Deedee's Digi's and for their generosity. If you're not familiar with Deedee's Digi's, check out the store as there is bound to be something for you in there!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
A Snowflake's Promise: Christmas / Winter Theme
Artistic Inspirations: Anything Goes
Crafty Cardmakers: Make It Sparkle
Christmas Card Challenges: Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge: Stick It Down

These Are My Parents!
And here is the final new release from Jellypark this weekend! I liked the stamp so much I made two cards (one is for my parents and the other is an order!) Isn't the stamp wonderful?!
For the first card I've used DCWV papers plus ribbon and diy Poinsettia's from my stash plus a computer generated sentiment. I've coloured the image with Aquamarkers.
The second card I've given to my parents and the papers are from the Merry and Bright digi collection from Creativity by Crystal plus some dark red card from my stash and a wonderful string of fairy lights!

Simply Create Too Challenge 1 - Christmas
It's time for the first challenge at the new look Simply Create Too challenge blog! And its a lovely and easy theme for the next two weeks:
So basically, anything Christmas goes! If you want more details and to see the rest of the Design Team creations, pop over to the challenge blog!

I've used this very sweet Angel Girl Nativity digi stamp from Jellypark (there is a 20% off sale on right now!!) and coloured her with Promarkers plus glitter glue. And I've made more than one card too!
I've used papers from Creativity by Crystal - Merry and Bright digi paper collection from Jessica Sprague - just two papers in each colourway - one mad bubbles and one plain and layered with the contrasting paper.
The sentiment stamp is a 99p Studio G acrylic stamp and I found some plastic star shaped clear beads in my stash and as I have loads of them, I used them on the cards as they looked quite Christmassy!
So that's another 6 cards off my total - very near my final goal!
Good luck with the Simply Create Too challenge and I hope you will join us! And as an extra special treat we are offering 3 sets of blog candy as prizes to the top three entrants as picked by the Design Team!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Crafty Purple Frog: For Someone Special (these are going to my fellow Jellypark Design Team as they are all special!)
Dutch Dare Challenge: Recipe (Image, Patterned Papers, Embellishments)
Diva's By Design: Monochromatic
Flutterby Wednesday's: Open Challenge (Angel with wings)
City Crafter Challenge: Pink Christmas
Creative Card Crew: Monochromatic
Christmas Cards All Year Around: Sketch followed and the required 5 cards made (well, 6 actually!)
Ladybug Crafts: Winter Blues
