Daring CardMakers Challenge - Fairy Tales

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Fairy Tales

I've made a modern Fairy Tale using this cute image from All Dressed Up Stamps - Prosecco Time, which I've coloured with Promarkers and a touch of glitter glue. The papers and embellishments are all from my stash and are oddments left over from previous projects - I'm on a stash ban so trying to use up what I have as I think I have too much!!

Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 8 - Angie Blom

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by Angie Blom and I've used this lovely Dear Sweet Friend digi and I've used Promarkers to colour.  Papers are from my stash along with the ribbon and pearls.  Sentiment has been stamped from a set I have.

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Easter Interactive

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and this week the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to an Easter project so here is mine using a slimline card that is thinner than a DL (I bought some bargain envelopes a few years ago so need to use them up!) using scraps of card.  The image has been coloured with Promarkers - Too Cute Bee Heart Basket digi and I've used the Flower Trellis stencil and I found some really old inkpads in my stash but they were not in the least bit dried up!  I've handwritten the sentiment onto the banner from the Posydoodles Tags die set cut from a scrap of card - and to make the bee wobble, I've recycled a piece of acetate from a shirt collar packaging.

Good luck with the challenge!

Happy Hour Horace - 50th Birthday

And here is the final instalment of the 50th Birthday card using Dr Digi images.  This time its Happy Hour Horace who's been coloured with Promarkers.  The vintage map background is an old A to Z map that I was going to throw away but in the spirit of recycling, there is still lots of life left in it - so watch out for more use in future projects!

The recipient of the card loved it!

Good luck with the challenge!

It's Wednesday so time for a new I ❤ Promarkers challenge!  The theme this fortnight is

Anything Goes

And we are sponsored by Dr Digi and I've used Caffeinated Craig and coloured him with Promarkers.  Papers again are from my stash (I'm slowly using them up) and needing to be creative with all the little offcuts that I have!  They are digitally printed and from Funky Hand and sadly no longer available.

Sentiment stamp is from my stash (all the words are individual so I've just made up how I wanted them to look) and I've managed to use three brads from my stash too (seem to have a lot of those as well!)  Good luck with the challenge!

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Share The Love

I've made a cute clean and simple card using an image by From The Heart Stamps which sadly is no longer available, coloured with Promarkers and then I've cut it out using an X Cut die and then layered it onto the card base.  Charm and bakers twine are from my stash.

I printed the sentiment onto the card at the same time I printed the image.  Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 6 - Lee Holland Art

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by Lee Holland Art who is another new sponsor for us!  There are so many cute images to pick from in his store that it was hard to narrow it down but I went for Bunny Holding Flower and used Promarkers to colour plus a little glitter glue on the flower centre.  Papers are from my stash (and are old digital ones too!) and I've handwritten the sentiment.

Ribbon and half pearls from my stash.  Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Spring

It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and this week the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged with a spring theme so I've done something a bit different and used Jogging Jane and coloured her with Promarkers.  The backing paper is a really old one that I found in my stash (trying to use up what I have!) and is from Sugar Birdies.  I've dotted liquid pearls around the edge and hand wrote the sentiment.  Flowers are from the Pretty Paper Flowers pack 2

Good luck with the challenge!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - February Elemental

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week as it is the first Friday of the month, is an elemental inspriational challenge where you need to select at least 3 elements from the picture to use in your creation (colour counts as one choice):

I've made a Mother's Day card using a really lovely acrylic stamp from Polkadoodles which is sadly no longer available.  I've coloured with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue and dotted a white gel pen for extra detail.  Ribbon, half pearls and sentiment stamp area all from my stash.  I've used the colour purple, the shell shape of the flower, flowers, wording, the glass pebbles (half pearls) and the lace edge shape for the edge of my card.

Good luck with the challenge!

Colour Crazy Challenge - Week 5 - StarJamLines

It's time for a new Colour Crazy Challenge and the theme as always is

Anything Goes

This week we are sponsored by StarJamLines who are a new sponsor to us!  I've used the cute Mom Is At Home digi and coloured with Promarkers.  I'm still using up pre printed digital papers that I've had in my stash for a long time and these are from Funky Hand - Shabby Saturday download which sadly is no longer available.  I've made the rosette myself from lots of layers of tissue paper and handwrote the sentiment.

Good luck with the challenge!
